Trader Joe's has same size, organic for $2.50.*****************I bought a 1lb jug of another brand with the USDA/Organic stamp but it was tainted by rodent waste and made my family ill. It was grown in India where there is little regulation in the standards of USDA/Organic.I searched all over and found this brand: MCFADDEN FARM. It was the only one I could find on Amazon that is grown organically in the USA. California to be precise. I bought 3 bottles. Yes, they cost more but well worth it! A little goes a long way.The product is sealed in a glass bottle with a shaker top - it smells so fresh upon opening! The expiration is 14 months from now. The red chili flakes are colorful, very spicy and taste amazing. Thank you McFadden Farms for growing a superior product in the USA!

Nice spice to add to a dish. It is a little spicier than I thought but it can be used in a little smaller quantity. I like it and love that it is organic.
