Bought two matching red hats for my mom and me for our weekend trip to New York (she's a Texan so doesn't have much cold-weather apparel, and we liked the idea of being able to spot one another in crowds). And OH MY GOD. This is THE MOST WONDERFUL HAT that either of us have EVER OWNED. My mother SAID SO. REPEATEDLY. And let me tell you--we are both absurdly picky (especially her, *coughlaugh!*), and we are always picky in different directions, so both of us agreeing = a 100% 3d 360* positive review.Pros of the magic hat:- beautiful color--a rich red; looks deep and expensive and bright- complemented every single outfit we had, even though we didn't wear any red, which you would absolutely not expect of a bright red accessory- SOFT, comfortable--not a single head itch the entire time--does the hat in fact PREVENT itching???- the yarn and weave are really lovely, smooth, neat, and comforting to look at--and they haven't come loose anywhere--if I knitted, this would be goals- kept our heads perfectly warm in the OMG-windy, OMG-freezing New York January, to include all day wear and hours-long outdoor walks- never too warm/sweaty (I did take it off if inside for more than 10 or so minutes--although I also wear it indoors at home, to stay warm when I refuse to turn on the heater--it's probably comfortable at approx. 65* fahrenheit down to 25*? There is a lower point at which you'd want a lined hat, but I have never gotten there in NY or in Portland)- indeed helped us find one another when needed: the fashionable equivalent of a walkie-talkie- PERFECT level of slouch; I have been looking for this slouch ALL MY LIFE- puffball makes the slouch STAY in the perfect shape- perfect level of stretch--fit each of us perfectly, never too tight or too loose, never stretched out of shape- beautiful puffball--floofy, soft, blowdryable to perfection, aesthetic golden ratio in puffball:hat- snapping feature and extra puffball: so fun! Mine happens to make my hat exactly match a hat that my 9-year-old goddaughter has, so now WE are hat twinz and she is elated- mine also included an extra snap!! so now I can sew that to a THIRD puffball, or even a small stuffed animal, a zippered snack pouch: THE SKY IS THE LIMITSingle con of the magic hat:- since the puffball snaps on, I worry about it falling off, although this has never actually happened. (Once we thought my mom's had, but it turned out she had just left it in the hotel room, lol.) But still. If I wasn't switching the puffballs occasionally, I would probably glue one on at the snap. When stuffing the hat in my pocket or something, I am always sure to fold it so that the puffball is safely secured inside it. This is possibly more a con of my nervous temperament than of the hat.I want one in every color. You should buy it.

This beanie is definitely a slouchie beanie (which I like). The poof ball is a little bigger than expected but still cute. It is made of pretty thick material though which is good because it seems like it'll keep my head and ears warm and is cute! It also is is tight enough (but not too tight) around the opening so i can tell it won't move or fall off of my head. Happy with this purchase.

I love this hat! Warm & cute at a very reasonable price. It was very easy to remove the mfg label on the outside, as I won’t advertise anyone’s brand. The only drawback was my inability to order a replacement pompon - unfortunately, my dog liked it as much as I did & licked it into an unwearable state. So I ordered the hat in another color & just move the pompon as needed.

The yellow is not what I wanted. It is more of a greenish yellow. And it is very large and I have a huge head! I was told by geneticists my son and I are in the 98th percentile of heads lol yet this is big on me. I got my dad a black one without the ball and he said it was not small. I was sure he'd say it was too small. He has the same big head.You can roll up the bottom and pull over your ears. So, I don't mind it big. But if you have a small head it might be too big.I hope the ball stays on. It was a bit hard to snap on. Over all nice looking and great quality. Even tho the yellow is a weird yellow-Chartreuse color I may keep it. Since it is unique that way with the weird color. It will clash with my skin badly which has golden tones. But I was not expecting a snow hat with a giant ball to be an attractive look. More like cute and silly. Which it accomplishes.

Love the hat but pulled a star for the tag on the edge that advertises for the company, and the fact that is was challenging to remove it due to teeny tiny stitches, on purpose I'm sure. Ridiculous! IF you want to pay me, then MAYBE I'll wear a tag with your name on it. Somewhere on the back of my leg or my back or??? Seriously, save yourself some money and put your name inside the hat. No one wants to wear advertising on their head unless it's Nike or someone cool like that. Even then...Very pleased with the hat and apparently my puppy really likes it too. Went to the kitchen and when I came back he had pulled it out of the bag and was chewing it. Caught it just in time. A minor pull that was easy to fix. It's comfortable and fits well. I don't care for poms in general so I thought I'd just give away the pom. Wore it today with the pom for a quick walk in the snow and kind of got into it so I guess for the winter I'll use the pom. For the rest of the year I'll use it pom-less and just remove the snap. I can figure another attachment system that lets you use it plain without an ugly snap on top of your head. Cold mornings here almost year round so this hat will be perfect for a quick dog walk.Does this company make gloves? Could use a good pair to match the hat.

This is an awesome beanie! I love the look of it with the pom on too, which is a perfect size. It also feels amazing. Warm around my ears. Kept my head warm on a -20 wind chill day. I just bought 2 more colors!

Overall I do really like the quality of these hats. I know they are made in China, but they feel nice. It’s a nice knit and it’s thick so it keeps you warm. It’s not fleece lined, which I like because I have a large head and if it were fleece lined I think it would make my head seem even larger? The only complaint I have is that I ordered 2 “slouchy” style beanies. One Kakhi Knit color, and the other a dark grey. The dark gray is a lot smaller than the Kakhi. I LOVE the way the Kakhi fits because it’s not too loose but still comfy and fits well on my large head. The gray fits too, it’s just not as slouchy and a little tighter on my crown. Kind of disappointing.

I am happy. The hat sits well on my head - not too loose and not too tight. The pompom is okay - I used a hairdryer as advised and it does look better. The hat itself looks well made and it will keep my head warm though it doesn't look like I expected. It does however look exactly as pictured. What was most pleasant surprise was a hand-written note - it's not something you get from a seller and I find it a personal and nice touch that proves devotion to the job. It sort of warms the heart. Very, very pleased. Delivery was quite fast as well. My kind regards to the Furtalk team. :)

It's very disappointing as Amazon shows different pics on website and sells the hat without inner clothing inner lining to hat inspite of paying more money...!!!

I have a head with a very large circumference, and most hats don't fit me. Which is a shame, because I love hats! This hat is so comfortable and adorable. Love the pom-pom, and I really like that I can easily remove it if I want to. I walked out in the rain this morning without an umbrella for about half an hour, and it kept my head dry and warm!

I really like the detachable Pom Pom idea! So that I can put my hood over the toque. Unfortunately, I find the toque sags too much in the back, and thus causes the sides to stick out oddly. I also wish it had a second liner, as I can’t see it being very warm once we start getting some really cold weather. For the price it’s not terrible, but I’m not in love
