I bought lights at Lowes and paid about $18 a piece for them. They were color intensity adjustable. Problem was they did not seat properly in the ceiling. I returned them no problem and started looking for a light that was similar in design but fit better and did not have the weight of the utilitech recessed lights. This was a great option because they go into the ceiling and stay snug. Also I already knew what color intensity I wanted. Purchasing the ones with adjustments is kind of useless. Just decide what you want for color first and then buy these. Super easy to install and super clean and bright. I highly recommend.

Arrived on time in perfect condition. These lights are easy to install and work great. I installed them with a Kasa smart dimmer and they work perfectly. No flicker down to almost 0%. Light temperature is great at 3000 kelvin. Warm with very good CRI. I installed these in a home office in the basement level drop ceiling and could not be happier. Highly recommend.

Bought these with some other torchstar lights both claim to be 3000k but when installed the larger version of these are a different color. So not sure which ones are the correct color but be mindful and stay with the same brand and type when installing.

These are fantastic. Very bright on pull power. Dimmable with the appropriate dimmer and no flicker. You no longer have to adjust your layout based on beams in your ceiling. Put the light where ever you like. So handy.

Couldn’t be happier with these; they’re easy to install and they are by far the biggest improvement to my bedroom remodeling, which was totally unexpected. I replaced the floor, painted the walls, and redecorated, but swapping out the central light fixture for a few of these made all the difference.

These lights are great. I bought the 4” lights to put in drywall previously and now the 6” lights in ceiling tiles. Quality dimming and color. These are much more convenient than can lights over the ceiling tiles. Very pleased.

I am an Electrician. I have used different kinds of this style of light. These are of high quality for the cost. The >90 CRI seems true and they are very bright.With this said after install I found that one of the Junction boxes was bad. I messaged TORCHSTAR and they handled it like a professional company. I am very impressed by the quick response and replacement of my faulty product.I will be ordering many more!

I'm a contractor and use these in kitchen and bath remodel jobs. I'll probably never use a can again.Be sure and drill a 4-1/4" hole for an easy fit and still have the bezel cover your cut out. I use a grit bit after painting the ceilings. Have not had one fail yet.
