It's a good sugar bowl. I really expected a cheapy, platic bowl and I kinda wanted it for looks, but this a a solid bowl. its glass.... but its not like it will shatter. I bought it just because I thought it would look cool to put sugar cubes in and put on the table. It is! Im buying another. Ill figure out what to put in it later.

Delicate looking but durable
Beautiful, delicate-looking but durable. The lid is a good fit. Highly recommend this for granulated sugar or cubes.

Very light and thin
Nice design and executuon BUT very luvhtweight abd delicate. Almost all the Borosilicate glassware I have purchased in the past has been heavily built and rugged I also bought this as a sugar bowl BUT whether for granulated or cubed, with metal spoon or tong, I'm afraid it just won't hold up to use, especially without some sirt of silicone gasket aeound the edge. Only ti.e will tell!
