Fiskars 60" Pro Garden Rake for Soil with Lightweight Aluminum Handle, Heavy Duty Gardening Tool

This is a heavy, very sturdy rake for your garden beds, not raking leaves. One side is flat, so you can level the bed you just raked. Also good for getting the soil out of the grass after you dug a hole. It’s weight makes it more effective, you don’t have to put so much downward pressure on it. But it might be heavy for some to lift. So far, no rust. Had it for one year.

I bought this take to use for trail building and I’m very pleased. I assumed this would fulfill the row of a bow rake but it’s more like a light McLeod.The rake has enough weight to be able to scarify the existing tread. The grader on the back side is excellent for planing fresh material. The fact that the section is made from a solid sheet means this can actually move a lot of material on each stroke as well. It may now filter and separate material like a traditional bow rake due to this closed section. The handle grip is nice to have. East to grab in to and your other hand can slide on the Al handle.Two complaints:The shaft could be a couple inches longer. I really like my takes to have just a bit more reach.It is heavy. Not a lot more so than my other bow takes but it’s noticeable. I do t care since it functions so well.

I love this rake. I ordered it because I put rakes through heavy use and all of my previous rakes failed to pass the test. This rake can handle moving gravel piles and ripping out vines from trees. Even the guys from my tree service were impressed. Excellent product for folks who want top quality.

I think this rake could last a lifetime, I do like the way it is constructed, I only wish the rake tines and bow was a bit lighter. In that regard, the rake feels a bit unbalanced. I think a great tool would be a bit more balanced. I find their garden hoe to be a great example.

The rake is well made and as I expected it to be.However...The stainless hex bolts that hold the handle to the rake body are tightly locked and are too long, so the handle wiggles in its sleeve. This is disconcerting, especially since they look like they could be tightened, but apparently not. Otherwise, quality, fit and finish are very good.

A bit heavy, but worth the cost, no cheap attachment to the handle

I had a hard time getting myself to buy this rake due to the price, but it’s the most sturdy, durable, high quality rake I’ve ever used. It was not a waste of money.
