Noticeable difference
I live in Arizona and have a window in my house that is almost 18’ high the sun shines in from the east in the morning and heats up the house I could feel the warmth on the walls and floors. So I installed the film on the left side of the window and took pictures to show the results. The flooring where the film is installed is cool and I don’t feel the sun when I step on it! The original window side on the right without the film is noticeably warmer and i can feel the heat of the sun when I step where the sun is shining on the floor it was simple to install with a sharp knife and mist water bottle-highly recommend-

Works great
Have a slim window right next to my front door. People could see all the way to the back yard from the street especially at night. Now you cant see at all. When you look now its basically a reflection. At night as long as I have the porch light on you cant see either. It is a little difficult to put on.

They work super well. Room instantly cooled down. Difficult to trim.
I wanted to try these out for my bedroom, the hottest room in the house, on the 2nd floor and on top of that, it is south facing. Our windows need to be replaced anyway, but that is an expensive task.I put these on, and the room INSTANTLY felt cooler. So they definitely do something. My only complaint is the difficulty in trimming the film once it is on the windows. I had a hard time getting anything to look nice. Looks decent from the outside. But my shades/curtains are always down anyway, so I don't care too much.Because they worked so well, and were not that difficult to apply, (I am a small 5'5 female, and I could do it, the air bubbles aren't difficult to get out, even just with the tool provided, tho, a squeegee would probably be more efficient.) I want to do the rest of the south facing windows. I will need a professional to cut it and trim it because it was very difficult to trim, maybe the utility knife I had was dull? So I recommend the product, but if you want it to look flawless and perfect you may need a professional to trim it and install it meticulously.Overall, if you are thinking about this... GET IT! It really works, I was actually surprised at how well it worked for heat/sunlight. Great product. Wish it came with better tools/cutting/trimming instructions tho... :(AND pro tip, for everyone saying that they don't stick... This is not true. You just have to REALLY clean the windows (I used windex,) before you apply the soapy water on both the windows and film.

Good not Great
Nice thickness, which helps with install and assumed durability. Don’t think the scotch tape used to keep it rolled-up is ideal. It peeled a small area off…so, you might want to use the footer (opposite of your taped end, as your top edge) and cut the end that uses the scotch tape. My glass allowed room for me to trim, but it could be a problem for certain applications.Overall, it works well enough, with an exception. I guess the exception is logical…but it caught me off guard. The film requires “sunlight”…which means the darker the day, the little-to-no coverage. Therefore, zero coverage at night, and very little in the early am, depending on if it’s facing the east vs west.I ordered one roll to test and didn’t realize the exception until after ordering the 2nd roll to finish the job. So, I’ll likely return the 2nd roll, consider the 1st roll a sunk cost, and find a product that doesn’t require the “reflected light” to conceal.I think a more accurate term for this product is a sun blocker film with a conditional concealment feature. I could see this being a major shock for those who only test it in the sunlight and assume they have coverage at all times.

Trim to 1 inch over window size
This stuff is tough and curls. Cutting it to large is going to make it exponentially more difficult to install. Keep to 1” over window size. Minimize your problems. I purchased an install kit, has correct solution for window attachment, plastic scraper, razor trim cutter. These are necessities for professional looking install. Clean off window and be sure to not allow sheet backside to be contaminated with dust and dirt. Clean window and film backside completely. Spray on healthy dose of film prep solution, on both window and film, then attach film to window area, overlapping 1/2 inch. If necessary, use opposing tape to separate film backing from film, pulling film backing consistently downwards, off film. With both hands, maneuver film to cover window. Spray film solution on film and use rubber squeegee to draw solution out and attach film to window. Then use plastic squeegee to repetitively and consistently and lightly draw air, foam and liquid from between the film and window. Take the razor knife, follow the window margins and trim the film from the window. One last touch-up with the plastic squeegee and it’s done.

It does exactly what it claims
Privacy during the daytime (which is what it claimed to do; it never said it provides privacy at night but I think we’re all hoping for that lol). It’s easy to install once you get the hang of it. I think they’re meant to be installed on a wet/slightly soapy surface; the instructions aren’t too clear about that.

Garbage
You cannot see out from inside ...it makes the whole window black! Could have taped a black Bristol board on the window for $1.50.

Gute Fensterfolie + einfache Montage

Didn’t work for me!
Bought two rolls hoping to cover kitchen window instead of blind. Scrubbed windows etc. followed the instructions but didn’t work. Just seemed to slide off.
