This ginseng powder seems to be a thoroughly admirable product in every way. The taste is good, with a nice carrot-like aftertaste and the potency is good. It seems to be stronger than the expensive standardized ginseng capsules have bought, at a considerably lower price. The powder mixes pretty easily and goes well in a cup of coffee or tea. I tried it in a chocolate-flavored protein smoothie and the slight bitterness of the ginseng nicely complemented and enhanced the flavor of the smoothie, and added a good energy boost. Obviously a quality product.

I make my own capsules and ordered this powder because I am a regular user of Ginseng, however this particular kind of Ginseng seems to give me much more of an energy boost then any others I've tried. It has me bouncing off the walls. The price is great because if you put together your own capsules, even when you add up the price of buying the capsules....you almost always come out cheaper doing it this way. The powder last forever. I suggest you google the amount you should use daily of any supplement. Begin with a lower does and see how it affects you and then add as needed.

Yikes! Didn't realize it was goign to be SO bitter! I have been trying to use this daily, and I'm starting to get used to the bitter flavor mixed in with certain beverages. Usually I can handle bitter flavors, but this one is strong! A little goes a long way.

Best ginseng ever. I have these many brands of ginseng, but this one takes the cake. I put this in my smoothie in the morning and I have energy all day. Not a tense type of energy, but just calm energy like I had when I was 20. It lasts me all day and I don't get tired. I get so much done that I haven't done in a long time. I am 72 years old and I will not stop using this product

The ginseng mixed well in water. I actually add it to hot water as a tea. The taste was not overwhelming or unpleasant. It seems to work as well as taking two ibuprofen for me. I can definitely see how the flavor would clash in a smoothie or sweet drink. Over all worth the money and I have already recommended to my family.

The product is excellent, it is just what it promises to be. I am a weightlifter and have experienced better performance not only in energy and strength levels, but also an increase in libido even when extremely tired (Science supports this, you can look for studies in Pubmed / NCBI). I recommend taking it with some juice since it can be a little bitter taken alone, however this product is of high quality.

I know the taste of red Korean ginseng very well and this certainly is not it and is very far from the actual flavor. Supplements aren’t regulated and so I’m scared to know what is actually in here as it’s a strange bitter flavor nothing like ginseng. Stay away from this product and beware of supplements in general as they are not regulated.

How strong is it? I have questions about the dose and ginsenoside strength of this product. I do not have a gram scale, so I did by volume, measuring about 1 tsp per 1.5 liters of tea, drinking up to 0.75 liters of tea. I guess this ginseng powder weighs between 4-10 g per tsp. Therefore, I believe I was taking between two and five times the recommended dose. Maybe it is dosed low, but I don't feel much heat from it. When I have taken too much ginseng in the past, I have noticed overheating head sensation. I did not notice that this time.
