What is the difference between the various lines (Stelvio vs. Classic vs. Eiger vs. Gourmet)?

I wondered about that myself and contacted Swissmar in NY. I asked if there was a product hierarchy and was told that there are no quality "basic vs. premium" differences. The differences are color (stainless, red, or black) size (4 or 8 trays), and whether the grill top is granite or stainless. Hope it helps.

Can the Granite Stone be cleaned with detergent and water? Just wondering if this is like my stoneware that can't be washed.

we wash our granite top with soap & water. works fine. make sure it's cool 1st. also we found it best to allow plenty of time for the stone to heat thru.
