The product was good. The bag was small for the price.

Works well,fast delivery. To heavy now for me to left ,so I put it in a smaller bucket.

Works great on my concrete and wood steps, and concrete sidewalks. I sprinkle it on and the ice melts away within 15 minutes to half an hour depending on the amount applied and the thickness of the ice and snow.Often I apply it prior to snow falling to keep the walkways clear as the snow falls.Works great for me.

If you put this on new cement it will destroy it. Very powerful. But it works nearly instantly

In balancing swimming pool chemistry, the Snow Joe CaCl pellets are a great way to increase the level of CH (calcium hardness).The pellets dissolve in water very quickly but with a strong exothermic reaction that can be very hot to the touch, even in very cool pool water.To prevent the hot pellets from sitting on the pool bottom, they can either be pre-dissolved in a 5gal bucket (slowing adding cupfuls to the partially filled bucket) and then added to the pool or adding (less than 5lb at a time) via a 5gal paint strainer suspended in the pool, near a return jet to help speed the dissolving and dispersal.When only a partial bag is needed, the leftover should be sealed well in the bag and ideally doubly protected to prevent the CaCl absorbing moisture from the air.

Besides ice removal, I use this to refill my "disposable" moisture absorbers. Works great and low cost.
