I purchased this watch for my husband for our 38thAnniversary. He wore a watch band just like this when we first started going out when we were 16He loves it. The watch is pretty cheap but it was worth it just to see how much he liked it

Let's get one thing straight right off the bat: this is what I would call costume jewelry. If you're looking for a quality timepiece that's going to last, you're looking in the wrong place. But if you want something that looks kinda fancy if someone doesn't look too close for a bargain basement price, you could do worse. The style is distinctive, and surprisingly it does keep time fairly well (although the three smaller dials are completely non-functional decoration only, and the minute hand is a bit wonky when setting the time). But that's about where the good stuff ends. This will likely only last a month or two, since just putting it on damages it (scuffs on the straps are literally from putting it on the first time). You'll note that on the brown watch the straps are ludicrously long. That's how it comes out of the box, and there's no loops to secure them, so I trimmed the ones on the black one; still works as intended so far, but I've only worn it one night so far, so time will tell (no pun intended). As is probably no surprise to anyone, the band is not made of genuine leather.To sum up, hard to complain at less than $30 for two watches, but definitely leaves a little to be desired.

The photos here aren't accurate as to the size of the item. It's not so much a watch band as it is a gauntlet. I'm not a small person, I'm very tall and have a thick wrist- buckled all the way to the tightest notches this watch can easily slip off my wrist, and I am not exaggerating when I say it's a GAUNTLET; it takes up half my forearm. If you're an actual giant and need a watch this thing is great, but it's comically enormous on any kind of normal sized person. Also the quality of the material seems sus, but I have no intention of wearing it long enough to find out.

Junk, but not surprised considering how inexpensive it was."Genuine leather" is just barely leather so I was expecting it to be pretty light. The watch itself is junk. Battery died out of the box. Watch hands came of the spindle with a light bump.For the money though, it makes for a reasonable prop. Might work a little better with a half decent watch.
