Small, but fits in the hand comfortably!
I was recommended this by a friend as a controller for culling photos in Adobe Lightroom Classic. He was right!By using an app from the Mac App Store called Joystick Mapper, I have set up profiles for both Lightroom and PhotoMechanic. The controller is simple to pair with a Mac via Bluetooth and one done it will automatically re-connect whenever you switch it on.Joystick Mapper (app) is a bit fiddly at first, but pretty good once you get the hang of it.One thing I have noticed is that if you want to use it with more than one computer you need to forget the device and re-pair it whenever you switch to other computers.I’ll probably buy a second one of these so I have one for my iMac and one in my bag for my MacBook Pro.I’ve labelled mine for now (Lightroom on the top, PhotoMechanic on the bottom) as my memory is bad.No more awkward hand crab over my keyboard when culling pictures!A great little time-saving device!

Dinky controller, and great as a substitute hot key remote
Didn’t buy this as a game controller primarily. I bought it mostly to use as a hot key remote for drawing and painting on my apple ipad (as there is no viable, cheap option available). Works like a charm once set up.The pros:- It’s responsive and seems to hold the charge well.- It’s size makes it ideal for use on the go.- It has a wide compatibility. The Cons-Either for gaming or use as a hot key remote, it’s not the most ergonomic I’d say. This is due to its size, which is also what’s handy about it. Worth thinking about if you have big hands like myself.-set up can be a bit fiddly. It requires a different start-up for pairing depending on the device, so keep that manual handy or prepare to look online for instructions.-as a hot key remote, you cannot remap the buttons to represent different keys. This feature would’ve been really handy, but to be fair if you have this as a remote for digital art, odds are you won’t be using the keyboard much for drawing/painting, and it is really made more for games than a dodgy hot key remote.Overall, a really handy bit of kit. Good little controller and one of the best options for a hot key remote for an apple device.

Surprisingly good
Bought this to use with a Mega Drive emulator on an android tablet. Very easy to set up and works like a charm. It is small and can cause a bit of discomfort when playing for a while. However, controller seems well made and the buttons are responsive. Will definitely get another for two player games. Added bonus that it works with my switch too.

Not compatible with anything I try it with
Just wanted a small portable co troller to throw in a bag and use on my windows tablet or laptop if I'm bored and that's all I have available.Tried it with Steam and a few Controller friendly games. None worked. I also tried it with Emulation Station to try it with a bunch of emulators and games. None worked.I eventually got it working with retroarch directly but it was cumbersome. I tried all the controller mods using the start + button shortcuts. Nothing made a difference.

A great shame, considering the quality of their other controllers
Such a shame. Every single 8bitdo controller I've ordered has been of very high quality. When combined with the Amazon Fire Stick, these controllers provide a great gaming experience. The same cannot be said for the 8bitdo Zero 2 😔. The response is very laggy and the gaming experience for me is negligible. The buttons don't respond anywhere near as fast as say the SN30 pro or the M30. The input lag is considerably higher as well. All in all I would not recommend this controller to retro gamers.

Very handy
Small product but very handy. I feel more relaxed doing anki revision now and it’s really easy to connect. You only have to get used to the key binds
