and discovered it is called the Perfect Whiskey Glass
As some of you know, I am always interested in new whiskey-specific glassware. I have seen a handful of photos of this glass, and discovered it is called the Perfect Whiskey Glass, and is manufactured by Libbey. The glass is wide at the bottom like a Canadian whisky glass, and narrow at the top much like a Glencairn Scotch whisky glass. The diameter is slightly larger than the Scotch glass and slightly smaller than the Canadian. This whiskey glass is made from glass, not crystal. That's expected considering I paid $12 for a set of four. The glass itself is much less cumbersome than a NEAT Experience glass, and the hard angle makes it slightly less comfortable than a Canadian, which is smooth and rounded. It does handle easily when held between your pointer and middle finger on the sharp angle. The Perfect Whiskey Glass is easy to nose. It is also incredibly easy to swish whiskey in it.I poured a glass of J Henry & Sons Wisconsin Straight Bourbon in the glass as I know how it is will taste in a variety of whiskey glasses. The Bourbon hitting the mouth and palate falls somewhere in between the Glencairn Scotch and Canadian glasses, and is definitely much better than the NEAT glass. So, what's the verdict? Is the Libbey Perfect Whiskey Glass perfect? No. Is it useful? Absolutely. Is it worth the $12 investment? Yeah, I'd say so. Cheers

Nice for the price.
For the price, these are really nice glasses for spirits. Good volume, though not big enough for a cocktail, they can hold some ice if you do like it on the rocks. The shape supposedly will help in smelling and tasting the more subtle elements of whiskey, and I personally believe they do at least a little; I can't say for sure how effective they are compared to say, a glencairn glass though. It's the value for the money that really makes it worth a shot if you want a glass to sip spirits from that has a bit more character than a standard rocks glass. My only complaint is that it's slightly tricky to hold, since the portion of the glass after the "bowl" doesn't feel secure enough to hold, but it's something you can adapt to.

Great Shape
Well, its the perfect shape. Could use some slight refining (Wouldn't mind it being a bit more heavy, although it is NOT flimsy). Also the thick glass at the bottom is slightly tilted in some glasses, not too noticable and it doesn't affect the feel in your hand, it's just the little details that's making me reserve 5 stars. Amazing for the price. Good for nosing like a proper whiskey glass

Fantastic
Not a big drinker, I started experimenting with Scotch and Bourbon, and found what I like most about whiskey is the connoisseurial aspect. Drinking it slowly. Breathing it in. Looking at it. It can be a very contemplative thing to do. These glasses, though inexpensive are great for drinking whiskey the way many of us like to drink whiskey.

Cheers!
Bourbon is my thing and I have been looking for affordable glassed to enjoy my drinks. This glass is perfectly shaped to comfortably hold in my hand or to sit on the coffee table. The taper brings the aromas to your nose and allows you to appreciate the nose of the bourbon. The construction of the glass feels heavy and sturdy. I am impressed with the quality with the cost. Great product and I am really glad I purchased them.

Perfect, sturdy, attractive
Great nosing glass, sturdy, attractive design. I'd put these up against the more expensive (and fragile) glencairn glasses any day. Love that they're tough and cheap enough for the dishwasher. Size is perfect for straight Scotch tasting. Their novel form factor is totally comfortable for average size man-hands. Easy to swirl your beverage too.

Does the job
This glass does the job pretty well & looks good doing it. It's not a stunning piece of glassware, but is sturdy & it concentrates the aroma of the spirit nicely. I find that getting the last few drops of a dram requires an emphatic tilt of the head. Happy with this purchase overall.

Really nice looking affordable whiskey glasses
I really love these glasses. They're shaped like a Glencairn at the top but with a sturdy base (and less devastation if you break one). They feel very nice in your hand. If I ever want to add more whiskey glasses to my cabinet I would definitely order these again.
