Applies the right amount of oil
The synthetic gun oil pen works great - with synthetic oil you don't need much to lubricate metal surfaces. The "pen" has a point end and felt tip on the other end. Using either end you can get enough oil on the surfaces to do the job without wasting it. I keep it in my pistol box and give the 45 and 22 a touch before and during the match.

Just opened this today and all the oil is gone. When the package came I noticed it smelled strong of oil and didn’t think anything of it until I opened it and realized all the oil leaked out. What a piece of @&$@!!
