These WORK!
These work very well and add a good feeling of security when trying to walk on the dreaded ice. Being in my 60's, I think about what a fall would mean and I don't want to go there! I wear a women's 10 and ordered the large. They fit nicely on my rather chunky "walk in the wet" shoes and stay securely in place. They are well made, not flimsy rubber. Happy customer here.

Broke first time
They look just like the originals, but one of the rubber straps holding a wire spool broke the first time I used themGranted, I walked on concrete and asphalt, not just snow, but I've had the originals and they lasted longer

Serious no slip! (Update)
We don’t get a lot of snow or ice but when we do it’s really nice to not fall down in it. I had a little trouble figuring out the Velcro straps but once I did they worked great. My neighbors super steep yet not shoveled at all driveway was no challenge for these awesome crampons. UPDATE - like I said, we Dont get a lot of snow or ice so I’ve only worn these 3 or 4 times since I bought them. Today the Velcro strap broke. Disappointing.

Saved me so many times
Item came so fast. Didn't think we'd have a lot of black ice but we did and when I used these, felt weird walking on them first but it really saved me so many times! Black ice in the parking lot, on the road, and going down the stairs. I had knee surgery twice so slipping and falling could cause so much damage. With these I feel confident in walking down my down driveway. HOWEVER, you really have to sit down and put them on or off your shoes - great reason though but i wish i can just slip them on or off but its worth it.
