Rubschlager Bread, European Whole Grain, 16-Ounce (Pack of 6)

For someone who's on a diet like me, a sandwich with this bread is a low calorie but very filling nourishment. I use three slices for my lunch sandwich and layer tuna with low fat mayo or eggs with low fat mayo or chicken with mustard, and eat the sandwich with leaves of lettuce or endives on the side. I personally like the taste of this bread and its total lack of softness, which I find is a quality. I'm tired of those mushy and tasteless breads that the food industry covers supermarket bread shelves with. Rubschlager, now that's bread!

I really like this bread!. I always try to eat whole grain breads. In my opinion it is very healthy, and I like how thin it is. I have had it for lunch almost every day of the week for several years now as an open faced sandwich, and I use a variety of things to put on it. There are very few things that do not go with this bread.

I have been eating bread made by this manufacturer for decades, since I don't have the time to bake my own. My grocer no longer carries it. My mother raised the family on home made Danish bread and I can't live without it. This is the closest I have found to that perfection.

Excellent quality bread. I love the texture, flavor, and wholesomeness of its ingredients. It is pricey, but good.It is a far better quality food product than typical American grocery store bread.

This bread has a great taste, is thin cut, which I love. It allows you to taste what you put on the bread, it adds to the flavor of the cold cuts, and does not fill up you with poor ingredients. I highly recommend this bread.

This is a GREAT multi-grain bread, and is the same bread you'll find in the bread basket of virtually every German restaurant in the US. If there's a downside to this bread, it's that it tempts you to eat every slice!
