RIPNADO Band Saw Dust Collection

Dont know what that last reviewer was stating. The product works great is easy to set up. Its a matter of opinion on cost but I thought it was reasonable and saved me the time and aggravation. Would highly recommend

The hose is small and requires some effort to adapt to larger fittings but it stays in place well and decreases much of the dust created by the saw.

It is a super idea but it does not work worth a bit. Pure piece of junk as far as working goes. Would send it back, but thought it was such a great idea I threw the box away, Junk!

I was at the Woodworking show in Baltimore yesterday and I bought this for my Grizzly G0555 14 inch bandsaw with the extension. It worked well for the demonstrator with his pine board but not so well when I tried it at home. I didn't notice what type of bandsaw blade he was using, but I'm using a fairly aggressive 3/8 inch woodturners blade and the sawdust seemed like it just followed the blade down and around the bottom wheel and came out the top left corner of the bottom door. I tried it a number of ways using different types of wood and with my regular dust collection system and with a shopvac. Also tried it with the regular 4 inch vent sealed and unsealed. No luck. I haven't tried it with a different blade yet as this is the blade I use most often. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.Thanks.

I bought this item at the Woodworker's Show this past year. It isn't worth $5 let alone $50. It doesn't stay in place as the rare earth magnets are too weak. The hose size isn't large enough to generate any suction. The flat magnet that fits over the through plate is basically worthless and weak as well. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Hoping their collectors for the drill press work better.
