I bought this product to do our gut some good at this difficult time, when fresh vegetables are hard to get, as the supermarkets seem unable to provide sufficient delivery slots. The taste of this sauerkraut is wonderful! I personally do not like vinegar, and there is no unpleasant vinegary taste here. Just natural sauerkraut, much nicer than any supermarket fare. The chunks are chewy, which we like a lot, although people with dentures or weak teeth may find it a bit challenging. The sauerkraut will keep away scurvy and heal our guts. You can feel how it does you good. Not being high earners, we find the price a little steep, but we love it so much that we will be coming back for more, whenever we can afford another lot. We now know that live fermented foods are considered the best thing for a healthy microbiome so, having failed with my own messy, time-constrained, mouldy fermenting efforts, I was not disappointed to find this brand with the ‘Great Taste’ label. Very pleased with the taste and texture. I also recommend the one with fennel seeds. That’s my favourite. Be warned with the spicy cortido one though. Even though I like spicy that one was way too hot for me. Jars arrive cold and well packaged in glass jars.

Tastes very good. Each jar leaked but did not affect the Sauerkraut although a bit messy.

Fantastic quality sauerkraut that unlike the stuff you find in supermarkets is unpasteurised so is still teaming with friendly bacteria and tastes delicious. Some say this is expensive but you honestly get what you pay for and this is worth every penny as you only need a few forkfulls a day to benefit and so 4 jars will last quite a long time and because its fermented and live, it will keep in the fridge for months. Highly recommended.

Love the flavour - earthy, sour and salty with a touch of sweetness. First time I've used probiotics and after just a week it's having a positive effect on my digestion, and my energy levels have increased. I have to store it out of sight to prevent me overdosing on it, it's so tasty!
