Knitting Needles Set- RELIAN 36 Pcs 18 Sizes Single Pointed Bamboo Knitting Needles + 18 Pairs 18 Sizes Circular Knitting Needles with Colored Tube +Weaving Tools Knitting Kits

I am somewhat new to knitting (it's been my quarantine activity for the past two months) and found this kit to be a pretty good one as a beginner experimenting with different yarn weights and techniques.I haven't tried every set within the kit, but I've found the larger needles to be pretty sturdy and smooth. I tried the 4mm circular needles last week and found they weren't as smooth as the larger needles. The yarn snagged several times and the needles ended up splitting in half. I had already moved on to metal needles for projects that need smaller needles, so I'm not too bothered by it. I do appreciate that all the needle sets are clearly marked with the size (my metal set isn't and it's pretty annoying).Ironically the part of the kit that I use the most is the little toolbox that comes with it. It's got pretty much everything you need in one little compact box.

I was astonished when I received this kit. It is so complete, that you would not need anything else to knit your projects. I am a hobby knitter and found the quality to be good. Better quality than what I expected for the price. I only opened two needles. The wood is smooth and the points are sharp. I changed these needles to the current project I am working on and it is smooth, and easy to knit with. It comes with a great notions box with scissors, tape measure, markers, locks, top closers, everything you can think of. I did not open the circular needles. I give this a five star rating. I think there is a similar kit for crocheting, and I would buy that. Oh, the kit does not come with double point needles. I wouldn’t expect that in a kit like this. Happy knitting?

These needles are very smooth and comfortable for knitting. However, the plastic part of the circular needle failed near where it is attached to the needle itself. I'm attaching a photo.This is very disappointing as it happened in the middle of my first project using them. I cannot continue until I get another needle...I tried wrapping a little tape around the broken piece, but the stitches do not glide over that.

The variety of sizes is good. The grip is good for a beginner or slippery yarn. The circular needle's have cables that are smoothly attatched and very soft and flexible, easy to work with. The needles themselves are all smooth without snags. The additional set of accessories is a wonderfully useful bundle in it's own little case. The very slender straight needles must be used with a gentle touch due to their small circumference but are still quite usable. Yes they do bow a bit with use but this doesn't seem to affect their function. The points are easy to enter your stitches as they should be. Don't know how long they will last but for the price, you can't go wrong.

I have to say I really like this set. Here's why I gave it a 3 star rating: I bought this because I am currently deployed and didn't plan to bring any knitting supplies. I decided recently that I wanted to start a project and needed some size 4 and 5 needles but obviously had no local craft store to pick up needles. This set looked great and is a good price. Waited a few weeks and it arrived. It arrived yesterday and the set is really nice. Accept exactly one needle was broken. Unfortunately, that needle was one of the 4mm needles I need for my project. It is really difficult to do returns and if I have to send the whole set back I can't do anything for several weeks. If you could please just replace the one 4mm needle I would be super stoked and would definitely update this review. Thanks

I am a beginner and haven't had the chance to compare a lot of products yet. So far, I am very satisfied with this kit that offers a lot of needle size and tools. It has everything to start any project (including scissors, wool needle, tape measure, pins, ...). The bamboo is flexible and very pleasant to manipulate. The needles are soft and I haven't had any problem with snag. The circular needles are also very nice to use. I haven't feel the need to upgrade or change material for my needles yet. I recommend this kit, at least to people who want to learn and don't want to put a lot of money into their material.

Pictures don't capture the beautiful quality. Beautifully made, sizes are clearly marked, easy to use. Every size you could ever need! Love having the circular needles, in the same fine quality. You will never want to use metal or plastic needles again after using these wonderful bamboo needles! Arrived very quickly, too.

The straight needles are great and the kit comes with a lot of really handy knitting accessories, however the circular needles are borderline unusable for anything with a tight stitch. The rubber tube connecting the needles is too thick and has too much friction for the stitches to slide around the cord.
