One of the reasons to have purchased this item was the volume. It holds 8 gallons when filled and it lasts 8 hens for over a week so we can take trips and have a neighbor refill weekly. Highly recommend over any other sized water that I have seen on the net in a local feed store.

Well constructed, a bit of a chore to deice when freezes, sturdy but does not like vinegar which we use to clean with. All in all a great buy but need an external heating source for our winter farm needs. Would be great if they sold a solar dc heating unit. I would be one of their first customers!

Had a hard time finding this size. It was big and affordable but came with a dent.

Never quite a few different types of watering systems for my chickens, and this one is just simply the easiest to use, strongest, and most versatile. A little heater underneath of it in the winter and it stays working the way it should.

I ordered two. When they arrived, the water pan on one was dented and warped, so I sent it back for refund rather than ask for a replacement. Was I glad I did. I set up the second one and it immediately began drawing down and leaking out one side. I tried to level it thinking that was the problem, no use. I fill up the eight gallon can and by morning it all leaked out. I have had this happen on Little Giants before. Not sure if it is a bad seal or just needs to be impossibly level. I use an up turned garbage can lid now for my water. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS.

Works great in winter with our heating pad. Large size means we only need to fill about 2x per week for our number of birds.

None of my local farm stores seem to be able to get these ordered in (always on backorder). I was very happy to find this size on Amazon for a fair price. Arrived on time and in perfect condition. Does what it's supposed to do.

This waterer allows me to have so much more time between watering. Highly reccomend.
