Nestle Toll House Espresso Baking Chip Morsels, 9 Oz Each - Pack of 2

I couldn’t find these at any grocery store so I decided to get it delivered… during summer. I now have two espresso chocolate bricks in the pantry. I can easily chop them up into chip size but definitely be mindful of the weather when ordering hahaha.

When I lived in the Seattle, WA espresso baking chips were plentiful, but then I moved out of state. There's less traffic and even less espresso baking chips. I can't find them anywhere near where I live, and I live in a large city. As soon as I received these baking chips from Amazon, I made a batch of cookies using the recipe on the back of the bag. Mmmm!

It arrived melted in a hard block. tastes great still of course, but definitely a little more work on my end because i planned on using using this in a wedding cake. And this isn’t available locally me.

I stumbled on these chips at Christmas & decided to try them. They were awesome!

This is the second time I've ordered these chips. The first time the chips were well within a good best-before date and arrived in good, edible condition. Today? I was shocked! The best-before date was April 2022; it's obvious the chips had been kept somewhere warm and melted together. One pack was so bad, it felt like a brick & you couldn't feel the chips. Totally inedible. I did ring Amazon Customer Services and they've requested a refund as I wasn't able to request it from my orders page. Really, really disappointed.
