To cover my bases, I ordered boxes from three companies. I was worried that something might be broken, the wrong size, or simply not arrive in time.Ultimately, I used the Star India Craft box. It was good quality and had broad enough sizing range to fit Uncle Ronnie. As I recall, many of the brands didn't have options for very large boxes. I think Uncle Ronnie was 250+ lbs and he fit in the XXXL size. Two boxes had the tree of life image on the cover. The Star India box cover was a little less busy than the other brand. Wouldn't be that noticeable unless you happen to have both options in hand (like I did!)(not sure if I’m allowed to do this, but I’d appreciate the info so I’m trying … ) I ordered three boxes. Ultimately, I used the Star India Craft XXX-Large box. The Star India box was very similar to the Hand-Carved Rosewood Urn Box. Star India was slightly better quality and the right size. Hand-Carved Rosewood had slight, slight damage and a colorization problem. I also ordered the Indian Glance Wooden Urn Box X-Large1. Glance Wooden box was good quality and the smallest option. The Glance Wooden box is nice if you’re looking for a plainer style.

It came super fast, it looked great, and the price was great! Couldn't have been more pleased.

I ordered this box because my ferrets ashes came back in a cardboard box. This is so beautiful. Could easily fit small cat/dog. It is beautifully made and love that it has a screw to secure slid out part underneath. I am about to pick up my rabbits ashes and will be ordering another one. I’m so thrilled I got this 5 stars all around.

Fast friendly reliable service

My wife passed away suddenly (only 58 years old). We had always planned to be cremated. Sadly, we never discussed what to do with our ashes. She loved carved wooden boxes and had several she kept trinkets in, so I began looking.She was a Wiccan and would have liked the wood and appreciated the tree of life carving. The carving looks very nice by the way. She only weighed about 95lbs (at 5'0"), there was plenty of room for her and some personal items.I saw the exact same box (same manufacturer) at the funeral home for $300+. My baby would have had a fit if I paid that much, for a wooden box. I also like that I can keep it on her altar, and it doesn't have the creepy vibe an urn would have. It doesn't look gloomy, and guests don't immediately recognize what it is. She would have liked that about it. I have enough to be sad about, at least this was nice.

My brothers cremains came from the funeral home in a fairly large plastic box. I wanted to get an urn large enough to put the plastic box in. I searched all over for the exact interior measurements of the XXXL size and couldn't find it. I took a chance and ordered the XXXL and it is the perfect size that I needed. Here are the usable inside dimensions of the XXXL box 4 9/16" x 6 9/16" x 8 9/16". It is a fairly decent quality urn and, for the price, I would purchase again if needed.

Product is as described. It seems to be good construction and the pattern in the wood is nice. The brass screw that holds the bottom cover on was tight and difficult to remove. Make sure you have the correct size cross-point screwdriver or the head may strip while trying to remove the screw. It would be nice to have a somewhat larger box for larger people.

Good quality for the price. Is a nice box. Size was exactly what I needed.

I purchased the 2XL urn and it is exactly as described and pictured.I didn’t need this size but it will have ample room for other family ashes I have so we can all be scattered together once my time comes.

To sell something for £90 that is this bad is quite something. The base is not wood and the lid just rests on top loose with no inside edging or any way of securing it. So even the slightest movement will knock the lid off. Probably not the greatest idea when your selling it as an ashes holder. Would have returned it in heart beat but the cost of postage to India made it just not worth it.
