Love it
I always liked this comic strip since it was just a few panels in the newspaper. It's funny, wholesome, and entertaining.

I thought it would be something he would like. He has read it many times
Bought this for my son who hates reading. I thought it would be something he would like. He has read it many times, and can't wait for more books, so that is the best praise I can give to any book

Awesome collection for the Fox Trot fan!
My family fights over the Sunday comics and Fox Trot is one of our favorites. Catching up on some of the older/earlier strips has been most enjoyable! Try the Sunday funnies for a month or two and if you're like my family, you'll want to enjoy this one, too!

Great stuff! Having seen some of the antics in real life, it's great to see it written!

Funny While Touching During Certain Moments
While plenty of comic books pick their titles from random moments, this particular collection takes the silly sentence "pass the loot" from a series of strips based on an interesting situation. Two of the Fox children discover an envelope with a bunch of $20s in it that's marked with nothing other than a name. While debating things back and forth, they end up realizing after a bit of searching that the envelope was intended for a charity drive, and they make the right decision to hand it over.Being one of the earlier Foxtrot books, the collection also features a bunch of dated references that are frequently hilarious. Paige Fox debates with her siblings over what to get at a VHS rental store. Various characters use typewriters that look like they were out of the John F. Kennedy administration. In one dramatic moment, a very pre-Columbine Jason Fox writes Valentine's Day cards to his classmates featuring detailed drawings of war scenes, complete with realistic-looking hearts on the corpses (something that he states to his principal is a concession to holiday tradition). It's interesting to think what would happen to a kid who pulled the same trick nowadays.Foxtrot is a great comic, and this book is highly recommend. Page after page features a bunch of hilarious moments. Bits of actual character development as well, something rare in such an episodic format, make this particularly special.

Foxtrot! :)
The second Foxtrot collection, Pass the Loot is a wonderfully humerous book. I highly recommend it, along with the other Foxtrot collections.
