Although I had to modify it. i was very pleased with how it worked. Used it on 4 wheels at Burning Man 2016. I liked the rubber push button for on-of and I think it will keep out dust unlike other elwire bicycle products. The lights are bright enough, however the wires are all bare - not a bad thing, but I was concerned about two things - 1st was how vulnerable they would be with jumbled bikes in piles, while transporting, and in bike racks. The second concern was how to securely attach the wires to the spokes. My solution was to pull the wires into/through a poly tube using a pull string. Then I threaded the tube through the spokes and the tube kept the wires in place and protected the wires. Just to be sure, I sealed the open ends of the tube with caulking.

I wasn't able to use this item as soon after purchase, but I'm so glad it's installed now. I purchased this to make our bikes seen better when riding at night. My son thinks it's great!

 This is an awesome light to go with a bike. I received this product at a discount in exchange for a review. I was able to get the blueWOWOWO Wheel Light LED Bicycle Safety Light Lightweight Accessory for my sons blue bike. Upon arrival we tore open he package and started weaving it through his front wheel. The battery pack is an awesome thoughtful piece. Just unscrew the cap and out pops a USB battery, plug it into your computer or one of your many phone charging USB ports to charge the battery. Much better than a AA or two AAA batteries would have been. This thing is bright! Press the button once and it flashes, press it again and it's a solid blue light, press for a third time to turn it back off. Installation was a breeze and we loved it.One important note I want to add is DO NOT unravel the cord once you get it. This is make it harder to weave through the rim. One time at our local Maker Faire there was a prototype similar to this. That one had a way to program a lighted picture on your wheel, later versions had specific pre-programmed images. Ever since seeing that, my SO has wanted something similar for his bike. So when the opportunity to receive this at a free or discounted rate in exchange for my honest review came up, I had to jump on it. Especially since we're at the time of year he rides his bike regularly at night.I got the multicolored one which my SO prefers over a solid color. This was really easy for him to get on the bike and use. That's good because the instructions - one of which is "strained the ribbon" are not clear. The description on the package is also written poorly such as "let you no need to worry". The awkward English and poor installation diagram was disappointing, but the product itself works. The lights are clear and bright. The charging option is a terrific idea and works well.This is for one bike wheel, which is enough to be more noticeable biking at night. It's better aesthetically and more fun to have both wheels done. It's on sale for $19 (at the time of writing this), which I'd be very comfortable spending on this. The regular list is $50, but I'd need two sets at that price point to feel I'd gotten a good value. My son absolutely loves the lights for his bike. I bought them for safety reasons, but he just thinks they are super cool. All of the kids in the neighborhood are jealous! And of course, he thinks that’s even more awesome.I love that he is visible to cars at night, and I can see him when he’s riding. They were easy to install. After installing, it is still easy to get to the battery pack to replace the batteries.I only wish they had come with two sets of lights. One for each tire. I didn’t realize it was only for one tire. That is the only downside to the lights. The picture showed both tires with lights. I guess it’s my fault for not completely reading the description.I did receive this product in return for my honest opinion.

My neighborhood has an extensive bike path and plenty of bike lanes, which is wonderful except it is still a somewhat rural area and so streetlights can sometimes be few and far between (and are simply nonexistent on the bike path when it is not meeting a road anytime soon) which means I am always on the lookout for ways to be noticed by cars on the road. These are AMAZING. Super bright even during the day and the blinking setting makes it VERY noticeable that there is someone biking. The USB charger is great since I can just grab it and bring it inside to charge with me when I'm at work or home so I don't need to worry if I have spare batteries with me if the power starts to drain on the way home. I have not had a chance to test them out in a very hard rain yet because it's been fairly nice out since I got them and I am lucky enough to live and work where I can store my bike indoors, though the LEDs do seem to be pretty well coated and probably waterproof.My only complaint was that it is not made very clear that you only receive one bike tire's worth. While I was a little disappointed, even just one giant very well lit bike tire is enough to be much more noticeable on the road, so I will just have to buy another set at some point if I want to have both. Not that big of a deal!All in all, very happy with the product.I received this product at a discount in exchange for a review.
