Excellent!
I had to install Windows, disable the fast start to access the bios, and then install Linux. No problems. All up and running. Very easy, and happy with my purchase.

What i ordered versus what i got
The delivery was quite faster than expected. the product was clean, with no scratch or dent on the item. however, there was no battery attached and the inter one too is faulty and cannot be charged. I would appreciate a quick fix for this as the description on the item says the battery is at 80%, was shocked to see there was no battery attached or functioning well.. reason for not giving a 5 star

very good laptop
As new condition, and arrived quickly. Upgraded to 16gig/1tb nvme drive on arrival, after checking all good, and process isn't too difficult at all. Runs Fedora 35 (linux) perfectly.Very happy with it.

Indistinguishable from New
Having used ThinkPad for perhaps half of my working life I knew they were built like tanks but I was still apprehensive about buying "refurbished" - I needn't have been - the T470 I received was indistinguishable from new appart from the generic packaging (which gave much better protection than most brand new laptops). Whist the processor gives "acceptable" performance and the screen angle has to be right to get the best viewing results - the value for money is just unparalleled! I can't recommend it highly enough. Everything about the buying and service experience was first class !
