BMW Genuine Roundel Emblem Logo Sticker Replacement for Remote Key 11mm Rounded 66122155753 Peel and Stick

I gently pried the old emblem off my BMW remote fob with the tip of a sharp knife. The old emblem was a painted metal disk, and was worn and rough. I wasn't sure this new emblem would stick to it. Once I got the old emblem off, I cleaned the black plastic button/surface that remained, and then affixed this emblem. I presssed down on it pretty hard for a few seconds, and left the fob out in the sun for a while, then pressed again, to make sure we had good contact. This new emblem is genuine BMW and is a raised, clear button. I like it better because the emblem is the "lock" button on the fob, and the raised emblem makes it easier to hit the lock button in the dark or with your hands full. Plus, the fob to my 8 year old BMW looks new again.

Trust me on this and take my advise. When you get this apply a very small amount of permanent glue to the button when putting on the key. AND MAKE SURE when applying it you use tape as a way of placing the logo on the key instead of your fingers because once you put this on the key you will not be able to try a second time. Unfortunately my bmw logo is a little bit uneven but that’s my fault. Use something to help accurately place.

Fits perfectly. The one bonus is that I see that BMW now has a domed clear coat epoxy over their emblem… which makes their new emblem sit higher and likely protects the paint somewhat better.

Only problem with the product was the fact that it was raised with a clear bubble on it which is no problem but certain keys don't like to be inserted with that much of a bubble you just have to peel it off.

Quite a bit raised compared to the original, at least on my key fob. Otherwise a great replacement.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I have a 2009 335iSedan, it is the same key fob as just about any other key. Here’s the problem....... This little button that they send you is lifted it’s not flush Meaning if you put this on like I did it will get stuck in the keyhole if you have to insert the fob to start the car. This will be OK for you if you don’t have to put your key inside of a hole to start it but if you have to put it in the hole like I do due to the sticker being a lifted bump it will just get stuck and when you pull it out with force it just rips it right off. This is not the correct sticker for the fob. DO NOT BUY
