Love the taste, texture, and color of this rice! Yes it’s organic, and in fact the ONLY organic one I could find on the whole of Amazon at the moment, and I scoured. Yes it’s a gorgeous purple, yes the perfect chewy texture that being a glutinous aka sticky aka sweet rice, so it’s perfect for authentic Thai sticky rice dessert. And we tried to replace it with Black Forbidden rice, but that on just doesn’t have the same amazing texture. But gosh after all that to love I’m just annoyed: it’s just too expensive, is like three times the price for non organic. The 1 lb bag made just 10 servings, for $32! Which is triple the price of a non organic pound of black sticky rice. I would buy this every week if it were reasonable in price. I’m fine to pay a bit of a premium for organic, but this is just excessive! Please Khautong, please reconsider your pricing strategy. You could see this take off in popularity!

I finally received my rice as above! I enjoyed my first bowl of rice from this little bag, It is delicious! the freshness and healthiness from the rice really made my tummy feel good. But, I want to say I am very happy with its quality, but for a busy working woman like me, is it worth to wait for almost an month, plus paying for the high price for? I am not so sure about it. Overall, its your decision to wait or not wait, to spend or not spend on this delicious rice after all.
