The states are marked on the graphic map, and the wand will give an auditory name of the state if it's held over the state, as far as I know.

Does it talk about the middle east and GCC countries?

I don’t know if it talks , when I got it I was so disappointed by it and send it direkt back !!! It is made so cheap !

Does it include Taiwan as a separate nation? I've read that others don't.

Ours shows Taiwan and will also answer describe country facts separately from China
