Q: Will this pair will with my paul mitchell purple toner shampoo?!! trying to achieve the "rachel" from friends look on my blonde! help?!

You don't need both at same time or hair will be purple. Having said that, this is the best purple toner conditioner I have ever used works better than any purple shampoo on the market Takes the yellow out like no other on the downside overpriced but, a little bit goes a long way if you're going to use Your purple shampoo dilute this conditioner it will totally make your hair a beautiful platinum color if you're blonde

I would say it's closer to a toner, it's definitely not a color shampoo. It comes out a deep purple but I wouldn't call it a toner either. If anything I think it helps reduce the brassiness of your blondes.

Q: If my hair is auburn, not dyed, will it add some blonde highlights?

No. It removes brassyness from blonde and platinum hair.
