I already have a professional punch down tool, so I didn't need the punch down tool. However, the wire stripper works really well and I like it. The punch down stand is the really valuable item. It holds the jack steady during punchdown and reduces chance of injury or breaking the tabs off the jack.

This is useful to have and easy to use. Helps to punch down the Ethernet wires in the jack. I recommend this for IT guys who want to easily hold the jack & punch down.

Just find the right slot for the connection you are making and place the jack there. This allow for much greater stability when you make the punchdown connections. I used this for several runs of cable and it make the connections quicker and I did not have any signal loss.

I gave this 3 stars overall because of the quality of the item and the concept idea. BUT.... the openings on the 2 I received are not large enough for an RJ45 keystone jack to fit. 1 or 2 mm larger openings and this would be a terrific item! I can't tell you how many times I have left indentions in sheetrock because I'd put the keystone against the sheetrock to punch down. I thought this item would alleviate that. And it would have except the opening for the keystone is a couple millimeter's too small. I bought 1 to try and it didn't work so Amazon offered to replace it and the replacement was same size, same issue. I may try to shave down the opening and get the keystone to fit.The quality of the keystone stand is great! The concept is awesome! The value for the money is great! Hence the 3 stars instead of 1. Just need the size adjusted.

Two problems: first, the blade in the punch tool sometimes comes out of the tool and gets stuck in the jack. Second: when using with VCE's own jacks, the pin assignments (which are printed on the sides of the jacks) aren't visible when in the base. If you just remember the pin assignments, then this doesn't matter. But if you need to be able to see the printed assignments to keep everything straight, then consider this!

Great crimping tool. The yellow wire stripping tool is the reason I gave a four star rating. The blade came off of the tool it is a low cost tool but the blade should be fused in place otherwise I recommend this tool set.

It works, but you need to be careful about the size of the ends you are using. It could of been something on my end that I did wrong, or I didn't purchase the correct ends to fit this, but its not amazing.

Using this with rear entry cat6 ( Position B ), this position does not lock, so it it completely useless to me. The jack just pops out when punching down. The yellow tool works, but the blade falls out, and the stripper cuts too deep.
