Nice jacket at a good price
Great value for the price. It's a bit on the heavy side for slow / stop & go rides on hot summer days, even with the inner liner removed. Definitely well made with ample (removable) protective padding. My only comments that aren't positive are related to the size - I tried on many other similar type jackets at my local bike shop. Most of the jackets that fit me well were size LG. My weight tends to fluctuate up and down anywhere from 10-20lbs, so just to be safe, I ordered this jacket in XL...and I'm glad I did. The main reason I'm glad I got the XL is because of the sleeve length - I think I have average length arms for someone who typically wears LG clothing and jackets, so I was very surprised when the sleeves on this XL jacket were just long enough. Any shorter (even an eighth of an inch) and I would've had to return the jacket. You can always return it, but I'd suggest ordering one size up. That being said, it really is a nice, well-made jacket at a good price.

Initial Review, How is this so Cheap an So Well Made?
I was extremely leary to order a protective motorcycle jacket for $50. I see that this jacket in the odd 3X size is on sale all over the place but no other sizes that I have seen. The other sizes are hundreds of dollars.Let me start with the size, 3X seesm really big but per their sizing chart it is not. I wear a Large to Extra Large shirt and this 3 X jacket fits me perfectly. It is heavy and feels very protective. The lining comes out easily and it can all be washed (gently). It had a back place, elbow and shoulder pads and feel like it will protect you if you go down.It is heavy, do not think this is a good light summer riding jacket. Even with the lining removed it is still a heavy jacket and not for riding it a warm sunny day.For $50 you can't go wrong and for $300 it is still a really good jacket.

Love the Jacket
In short/summary: it's definitely a quality product in terms of material, design, and body armor insertions. As soon as you unpack this jacket and lift it, by weight alone, you know you're bought a serious piece of cycle garb! It is warm on very cold rides, and while, as expected, there is some loss of mobility with a jacket designed for protection more than style, it is comfortable, and you can expect - as I have - to get compliments on this. It just looks classy.May change or edit this review with more use than just a few times, but so far, love this jacket. And, should mention, if you have interest, go to revzilla.com where they will do a full video review of this product and, in agreement with them, I'll again say it: this is a really great jacket, with a lot of neat features, and if you can, as I did, snag it at a discounted price - go for it (otherwise, full priced, it is definitely a bit of a stretch for some budgets).

I gave this coat a 5-star review, however you will need to know that this coat is primarily a cool, or cold weather coat. I live in southern California and wore it on a hot day, and was a wet-rag underneath when I got off my bike. It is waterproof and the material does not breathe well which is okay as long as you are aware of that. There is some venting. My opinion is that it is "great" for 70 degree F , or cooler weather. I like it very much in under 70 degree weather. It is very well made. The material is thick and is comfortable for me. It will give protection if you were to go down with it on. I purchased a 2XL coat. I also found it more comfortable with the liner & armor removed with a long-sleeve cotton shirt on underneath. I'm not a hard-core, or high-speed rider. My measurements are 6'1" tall. I weigh 235Lbs. My chest is 46" & my arms are 26".

Great jacket
$66 for this jacket is an unbelievable steal. Perhaps the msrp of $330 is a bit steep but this is a $250+ jacket easily. I'm 5'11 and 184 and ordered a large. It fits about perfect though with the liner in I can't wear anything but a t-shirt or thin long sleeved t-shirt. The liner itself is very thin but I think it bunches up and takes up more space. The jacket is a stretchy material and very comfortable. It's a bit of a sport jacket fit and style but I'm fine wearing it on my cruiser.I rode in 70 degrees and was comfortable. Actually a little chilly as air went inside the sleeves. If it was colder out I'd want longer gloves/gauntlet gloves or long sleeve shirt. I'm guessing this would be good from 75 with a t-shirt down to 50's possibly with a warmer base layer. If they have your size, buy it for the ridiculous $66 price!

Incredible jacket.
I’d recommend sizing up one size. I’m 5’10” 170 and usually like a trim fit of a medium. I got this in a LG and it’s perfect! This jacket might feel “too snug”, especially in the arms, but i like things snug on the bike. I ride all year long and use a heated jacket liner. This jacket is the PERFECT compliment to a heated liner. This jacket may be tight, but it is tough as nails and very warm and the stretch material is amazing.Best textile jacket I’ve ever had.

Comfortable and sturdy
ComfortableMaterial stretches but is very sturdyThis jacket feels like it offers the most protection of any jacket I have worn. Unlike many of those jackets this jacket does not feel constricting and I actually wear it. It’s comfortable and appropriate in weather below 80 degrees.

Fantastic quality!
Shockingly great quality for the price. Not something I’d want to wear in 90+ temps but should keep me warm in the colder months. Surprisingly heavy feel, almost feels heavy like leather but you definitely feel protected. I’ve spent a year road racing and a fair amount of time on the track and I’d feel safe taking a fall in this coat. Also seems very durable and over all well made jacket. Showed up a day early as well!
