FobusRU101BH Evolution Holster for Charter Arms Boomer, Bulldog, Pitbull (except .45 ACP) / Ruger LCR All models fixed sights only, LCRx,Ruger SP101 any caliber (fixed sights only), Right Hand Belt

Purchased for a Ruger LCR .38 W/2" barrel. This holsters fits the same perfectly. It seems of high quality and has the tension adjustment screw which is a plus. Just received an hour ago after ordering 3 days ago. Will update should I encounter any faults in the reasonable future.

This is a great fit for my Bulldog. The Charter Arms locks up well and fits great. The holster sticks out a little and is not ideal for conceal carry but it is a good draw and shoot holster. I enjoy it.

All FOBUS Holsters I have for my autos are full paddle style, very easy on and off. EASY to shift location!THESE ARE NOT! You have to mount it on the belt which limits where it can be placed, and very limited movement! It has an adjustable belt sizer which is difficult to get just right.A decent holster, but not near the quality of the other FOBUS' I have purchased. I do not like it, and after45 years of concealed carry, I feel qualified to write this report.Be warned.

The material this holster is made of appears very durable. It will likely last a considerable period. The weapon fits into the holster perfectly and smoothly. With proper adjustment of tension, the holster with weapon can be turned upside down and shaken without the weapon falling out. Yet when mounted in the customary fashion the weapon is easily withdrawn. The trigger is completely covered.It is slightly difficult to mount on a 1 3/4 inch gun belt. There are two sets of belt slots. One set accommodates belts up to 1 1/2 inches and the other belts up to 1 7/8 inches. The holster clasps the belt tightly so that it does not easily slide from its intended position.This model does not have provision to change the angle the holster is mounted. It is mounted at about a 90 degree angle which can be uncomfortable for some especially if a cross side draw is used.

I thought that after 3 years since reviews indicated this is a belt holster and not a paddle the listing would now be correct. But, I can confirm that the company has not fixed the listing. the description still has "Low Profile Paddle Holster Right Handed. Rubberized paddle" and a paddle picture, but a belt holster was sent. It was a very nice holster, but I prefer a paddle so it was returned. The one star is only because it seems that description will never be fixed.

This holster is a PERFECT fit for an LCRx -- the revolver goes in snugly and stays there. When holstering the gun, there is a bit of resistance as the gun enters the holster and then it "clicks" into place (a soft click) and is set there with no concern of the gun slipping out. With respect to the SP 101 -- not so good. With the 4 inch barrel, the front sight gets stuck in the holster making it almost impossible to withdraw because it protrudes well beyond the bottom of the holster whereas the LCRx's fit is flush with the bottom of the holster meaning the barrel does not extend beyond the base of the holster. In summary, the LCRx perfect fit, the SP 101 (4 inch barrel) not good.

This holster is not for concealed caring. It fits the gun prescribed for it, but it sticks out far from the body.

It fits great. At first I thought it would not work because of the slant in the holster, but it draws quite nicely.

Don’t like the fit, will not be using it.
