Casio G-Shock Mudmaster Mens Watch (Black)

Once the I received the watch via UPS the first thing I noticed that instead of it being packed with the bubble/air wrap around it the watch face was placed against the side of the box. Since this is a G-Shock it did stand up, but packing 101 should let Amazon know that this was a potential damage claim. However damage adverted as there was no damage.The first thing you will need to do is download the user manual (because the one that comes with it is written in Japanese). I took out the watch and it was set for Tokyo time.You will need to first check the charge of the watch to make sure you will be able to set it up. If the charge is H or M you're good to go. If the charge indicates L then you must charge it first. Mine came with a M charge so I was good to go.Some things that might help you. If you are in the USA, make sure you pick the correct time zone. You can have a main time zone and an international time zone. Make sure the main time zone is correct. Next set the DST (day light saving time) to AUTO. If AUTO isn't available, then you don't have your time zone set correctly (if you are in the USA).The watch will come with the time not set, and most likely not synced with the Atomic Clock. Don't waste your time trying to sync it, just let is sync that night (make sure auto sync is selected).Now my impression of the watch. It is very light, but sturdy. It looks good on the wrist. Some people may say that it's too big, but it's perfect for me. I'm 6'1" and 245 and it's not too big and not too little, but again that's a matter of opinion.If anyone wonders is it really made in Japan? Love the watch! Was actually blown away by the quality. It's a pretty big watch but fits and looks amazing. Shipping was very slow almost a month without any tracking but it finally arrived. This is the model with the black strap like I wanted.
