I love my Dyson cordless vacuum but they can lose suction, and the reason is always that this filter gets clogged with dust. You can easily remove the filter and wash it under the tap and that rejuvenates the suction of your machine. But after a while there's no substitute for replacing the filter with a genuine spare and then your machine is restored the suction it had on the day you bought it. For me, it's great value considering the cost of your Dyson machine. It takes literally seconds to install and being a genuine part, looks identical to your old filter.

I read the reviews on the compatibles but decided that sometimes in life it’s better to outlay on a more expensive part, get the genuine one, and get the quality. I didn’t regret this purchase. Yes it was £37.99, but I was still using the original filter on my 4 yr old V15 Absolute detect so hadn’t spent out on it since purchasing it. My Dyson was requested filter cleaning more and more frequently, and the patterned mesh on mine was getting fluffy in my old one so thought it was time for a new one to see if it improved things. WOW was I impressed or what!!! It’s an INCREDIBLE difference it’s made to the suction of the hoovering. It’s honestly like a brand new hoover again. I’m truly stunned. Who’d have thought just changing the filter would make such a vast improvement to the performance and workings of my Dyson. It’s virtually sucking up the carpet. Amazing! Well chuffed with this. I’ll definitely be replacing this filter more frequently in future now knowing this. It’s always better getting the genuine part and this came direct from Dyson. That’s £38 well spent 😁

I was considering upgrading to a newer model Dyson because I thought my V11 was fading. I purchased a genuine replacement filter and it has transformed the V11 to literally being as good as new

Excellent quality and fit

Nothing really to say, but I trust OEM parts when it comes to delicate filters like this one. I've read conflicted reviews from third party filters so rather than try and test others, I just stick with the original. I don't change filter every year (recommended by Dyson), and my last filter lasted just under three years, so breaking down the cost, it's very affordable. Just remember to wash it every so often to maintain suction.

Like brand new again. I washed my one i got with it so its ready when I need to change again. Although more expensive getting original filter it deserves of dyson quality.

I bought a new Dyson in May so bought this filter ready to replace the original one. I fitted it today and my Dyson keeps cutting out. I thought this was a genuine Dyson part!!!
