Such a sweet book for Latino Converts. Our children truly enjoyed it. Would recommend it to all who have relatives that do not celebrate Eid.

Bought for a friend. Their family enjoyed learning new Spanish words together. They also liked the fusion of culture and display of traditions.

“Eid Breakfast at Abuela’s” is a special book for me and my Mexican family. I won this book in a Eid giveaway and immediately fell in love with it. This book has helped me reconnect with my non-Muslim family members, it has taught us respect, diversity and language. I highly recommend this book to anyone. -Jacqueline

Such an adorable story! If Sofia was a real person, I’d want her hanging around my kids hehehe. I love that this book represents diversity and I adore the fact that there are Spanish words in each page. I believe children will learn a lot from this book.

As a Latina revert to Islam it’s nice to have representation for myself and my kids but you can tell reading this book it wasn’t written by someone within the Spanish speaking / Latino community. It has some words throughout in Spanish and attempts to capture the cross cultural element but didn’t feel authentic to what it’s really like being latino (the author isn’t which I didn’t realize until later) but still a nice enough book!
