We used this to help our hive overwinter. We used this and poly foam and added coffee bean bags to the super to absorb moisture. Something in that combo kept our babies alive. You never know with beekeeping :) We had an 8 frame hive and it was too large and had to make modifications to hold it up.

Not sure it will work! Tuff winter for Bees in Duluth Mn- it was easy to put on and fit good!

I held out on buying these until this winter. I have four hives and found it worth the cost. After taking the wrap out of it’s packaging you want to put over the hive immediately. It takes a few hours for it to fully expand and fit snugly.

I am impressed by the quality of this item. I have 7 hives and it’s is becoming very chilly in western Kentucky at the end of the month of October this product along with my feeder boards and moisture boards will work beautiful thank you for a good product

Easy to use. I am sure it will enhance the chances for my bees to survive the winter cold. I am very excited this will help

So far so good! Easy to place on beehive and seems to be keeping them warmer from the winter elements. My biggest concern was water getting in between the cozy and the hive box but I think as long as you wrap the top securely enough, you will be fine.

A lot of cash for a little bit of black poly sheet and a little insulation that is a pain to use. I could have made my own that fit with a little bit of black plastic, insulation and duct tape for a couple of bucks.

I haven't used it through the winter yet, but the plastic is strong and should protect the hive.
