Beautiful product!!
Quick delivery. Great packaging. Very easy to assemble, just screw on the legs and plug in. Easy to use temperature control. emits great heat. Beautiful color of bright brilliant orange. My husband kept saying "the fire and logs look so real!" The legs are plastic but they are a hard thick plastic and seem pretty study. The doors are light plastic but its not a deal killer. Overall we are extremely satisfied with this electric fireplace. A "little" on the pricey side but its so pretty and realistic that we are ok with spending the money.

XL Denali/Sized Perfectly
Here is a rundown on the XL Denali. I hope this answers any questions you may have.Aesthetics - This electric freestanding stove is as good as it gets in this catagory of electric freestanding stoves/heaters. It is very nice looking and is large, perfectly sized to make it part of your rooms decor and doesn't look like a small little cheap heater like most do. Aesthetics is 5 star in my books.Build - "Made in China" It is half metal, half plastic. As posted in many other reviews the front doors are all plastic and flimsy but I personally don't see that to be a problem. The doors are for looks and yes, you do have to open the right door to gain access of the controls but seems sturdy enough for that unless you are allowing kids to play with it or around it. Legs are plastic as well but sturdy. The heater used is about as cheap as they come and I feel to be unsafe, definately not a heater I trust nor would ever leave unattended. Just electrical wire heating elements that don't have a good track record plus easily accessible for kids to be able to stick something through the holes to short out, be electrocuted, or catch something on fire. The heater portion is definately outdated and the technology is hardly even used today except in economy portable heaters.Features - There are none, basic on/off operation with nice looks. There is no remote, replaceable light bulbs are standard, not LED. It is advertised that it has a thermostat to maintain a constant room temperature but is misleading. Even the manual, NOT included and must be looked up online, even tells how to adjust the thermostat, which is wrong. The manual does not match the actual operation of the heater and the thermostat is useless. It only controls HI heat output. It does not shut the heat off or bring it back on, it only initiates HI (II) heat mode. LOW heat (I) must be turned on for the heater to even work. The heater runs on LOW heat constantly, it is not controlled by the thermostat and can only be turned off manually. When you turn on HI heat, the thermostat will kick HI on and off, but again, it's ALWAYS putting heat out 24/7 if you turn on the heater. There is also no filter to keep dirt from entering into heater or fan, it can not be cleaned, fan has no extended run time to cool heater down after shutting it off so can become hot and fan is only one speed, it does not increase or decrease between HI/LOW heat. It just gets hotter when it goes into HI. The heater poses a potential fire hazard waiting to happen. 1-star for the heater and so called thermostat control.

Lives up to its description. Love it!
The media could not be loaded. We bought this mainly for aesthetics rather than as as a heater, but the heat function is a nice plus. I agree with other reviewers that the doors are not as substantial as could be, but we’re adults and don’t expect to be rough on them. There is no remote control but that doesn’t bother us. It’s quiet and the low hum of the heat added to the crackle box (which we purchased as an extra) give a cozy fire sound on chilly mornings. As electric fires go, it is probably as realistic as you can expect and the detailing of the design and doors (no glass, just an open cut out) add to the illusion of a real stove fire from another era. It arrived promptly, was well packaged, and was easy to assemble (just the legs had to be attached) with just a screwdriver. Heat output is just okay, probably not its best feature, but I love the look and sound.

A nice looking piece
We went to a cabin that had this model little heater. We were immediately impressed with it there. So when we arrived home I looked this unit up. It was well priced and works well. Fire looks pretty. About as good as fake fire can look I guess. Only thing I don’t love is the doors to the controls are just thin plastic and not very rigid. I could see them getting broken but hey that’s it. We love it.

It makes the entire space so cozy.
Absolutely love this fireplace. We don’t use it for heat, I just enjoy having a “fire” burning in the living room. It makes the entire space so cozy. It’s nice and quiet, but I prefer the sound of crackling logs, so we use Alexa to play “crackling fireplace” to make it sound authentic.

Mostly Positive One Negative Aspect.
Great Looking Logs and Fire. Very Attractive Unit. The doors are flimsy, poor quality. My other unit has good solid doors that have the feel of cast iron. Why the manufacturer cut corners here ??? Well, at least the flame is great, we'll have to put up with the doors.

Flimsy plastic doors
The heater is very pretty but the double doors are so flimsy they wobble when you open them. I’m afraid they will break very easily. When the description said metal and plastic I never dreamed it was the doors that were plastic. For what I paid for this unit it’s very poorly made. I would send it back in a heartbeat if I wasn’t 76 years old and have no way of reboxing it to send it back. I could have gotten a much cheaper one if I wanted flimsy plastic doors.

Very Pleased but...
Very pleased with this freestanding fireplace stove. I had a very expensive Vermont Castings cast iron electric fireplace stove for more than 20 years. It was very heavy but wonderful. But, the company is out of business and I could not find the parts I needed to fix it. This puts out more heat and has a brighter flame and better flame motion than my Vermont Castings. It also looks great. But several parts are plastic (like the legs). I was worried that when I flipped the stove after installing the legs that they were too flimsy. So far so good. I knocked it down a star for the cheap plastic. But I plan to keep it in one spot though certainly light enough to move without much effort.
