Research is very good however language is too difficult to fathom for an ordinary reader. It is an interesting read however. Need to be read a couple of times to be understood fully though.

price quoted is high. but material content is nice

the book has lot of pages missing in digital edition. dont expect this from amazon.I have a phyiscal copy as well and it is a good book but with so many pages missing here. I guess the money should be refunded

I rate this book 10/10 because I recieved this book on time , it's packaging was amazing and the book was 100% fine , with hard cover and dark visible text. This book has a best way of telling the full struggle of india before independence in a detailed way. Many authors have contributed to make this book even better for the readers and the price is worth it. Inshort , I recommend you to buy this and gain the knowledge of the British India with all topics covered in a story telling manner.......

Good book, captures all aspects of the freedom movement without rhetoric and even tries to answer contrarian view points. But I think it delves in to details too often making it a difficult read and like a history chronicle from time to time. Still as an Indian it’s a book worth reading to give a more unbiased evolution of the story of independence, what were the key drivers and the roles played by so many over a long stretched out struggle.
