They do the deed and fit my phev 4xe 2022
It fits the plug in electric model even if Amazon warns you not. I was even ready to use scissors but it actually fits, i dont mind that pieces are a bit bigger than holes. My picky wife and kids actually noticed the extra quietness and coolness, i didn't told them beforehand to get a real feedback, and the roof is not baking us anymore. It is a deafening material and gives that weird sound absorbing feeling. My dislike is that if you fold or wrinkle the front sides, the wrinkles are permanent but nobody is looking up attentive all the time right? Rollers will cause this and you'll get a long line of wrinkles. The center panels are the hardest to put on but i have good skinny fingers and was able to slide them in. These may seem like they dont fit but they do, you might be hitting something or have it backwards, check multiple times u got the right part lol.It is true that removing the whole roof makes it easier but I'm lazy.

more comfortable ride
These were super easy to put in and I actually did not have to fully take off the hard top. I was able to notice a decent difference in road noise, granted it is a Jeep and it's going to be loud on the highway but these made it more tolerable. The one thing I was not prepared for was the temperature regulation. They kept it warmer in the cab in the winter and cooler so far in the summer compared to the last year. It makes it easier to warm up and cool down the cab as well. Would recommend.

Price seems high, but it works great.
I was hesitant to spend this much on some pre-cut foam, but after reading the reviews, I decided it was probably worth itIt was! These are precision cut, and fit great. They make a huge difference on the heat radiating from the top, and they help a lot with noise too.Let's be honest, nothing is going to make a Jeep JLU quiet inside like any normal SUV, but these definitely help.(I have a Yukon XL Denali, and the first two times my wife rode in the new Jeep, she asked if all the doors and windows were closed... (They were, LOL))Do take the top off and set it upside down on a blanket to make installation easy. Test fit each piece before removing the backing paper so you know where to place it for real. Once it is stuck down, it is NOT moving again! (This is reassuring that it will not fall on my head some day...)

Bad adhesion. 3 db noise cancelation is not significant. Not worthit in SoCal
Dissapointed with this after spending $400. I was very happy to improve the cabin sound and get a better temperature during the few hot days here in South California. Well temperature wise its ok, definetly not worth it for this area of the country. Sound wise. After seeing many videos in youtube this seems the middle performance of this type of products and youtubers hyped at it like a game changer....well its all pure blah blah to get views. Btw I added sound deadning pads in the creces of the roof as well. The rediction is nothing, and to end my review i did a trip to Anza Borrego and the 90 degree weather made the material unpeal. Btw I cleaned the roof with alcohol and followed all the instructions given as well the recomendations in youtube

OEM quality
i waited a little before i did the review. i installed this about 6 weeks ago. i live in the desert southwest with summer temperatures over 100 degrees. our jeep was so hot the air conditioner was always on high and you could still feel the radiating heat on your head from the extreme temperature of the roof. this really did the trick! it really made a huge difference. i was worried the temperature would affect how the adhesive held. but so far so good. it also made a big difference in sound absorption. people can hear me better now when i use the bluetooth for calls. i did go the extra mile when it came to installation. i did not risk just sticking these on while the top was still on the jeep. i laid down some heavy blankets on the garage floor and turned the hard top upside down. i also found laying out all the little foam strips to match the indentations of the roof was a good idea. they are different sizes to match and fill the indentations so the big pieces lay more evenly. i cleaned the inside surface of the top with denatured alcohol and microfiber cloth. i’m telling you…… you only get one chance to position this! there’s no pulling it off to move it a little…. nope. not sure what the sticky surface is, but it’s forever. i have found that the paper liner you pull off is in two sections on the bigger pieces. so you position the foam pieces with the paper liners on and then fold up half, pull the liner and then press it down. repeat on the other side and it looks perfect. i even found a way to use this technique on the small pieces for the freedom tops. two of my friends have also bought these for their jeeps, and i helped them with theirs. it is worth the little extra effort taking the top off and working on its apart from the jeep itself. i love the product. it has performed as described. it was worth the investment.

Bad fit and no customer support from seller
If I could give a score less than a 1 I would. First, I want to point out this does not reflect in any way on Amazon’s customer service, their service has always been top notch. I receive what I thought was “custom fit” Boom Sound Deadening Headliner for my 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 doors. But when I took them out of the box, I immediately notice they were going to be way too small for my freedom panels. So, I returned them and requested the correct ones to be mailed to me. Well, the second set were also the wrong size. So, I contacted the actual seller Design Engineering to request some help with the fitting of the panels. But unfortunately, I think I would of receive as much help if I would have lifted the toilet seat and screamed into the toilet and flushed it. Even after I sent them a picture showing that the so-called custom fit was way off. They stated that there is nothing they could do about it and that I would have to contact Amazon. Never again will I buy anything from Design Engineering. These people do NOT stand behind their product.
