Don't let the 4.6 rating fool you, this spoon is fantastic. The solid silicone design is high quality and very safe to use. Most importantly, it protects my non-stick pots and pans from scratches. It's also a breeze to clean. Definitely worth buying!

This is the second spoon I have ordered. I like it so much that I wanted a spare. Some people don't like it because it is not flexible. this is why I like it so much! It is very sturdy and does not bend. It is great for stirring/mixing heavy or thick dough and other things. Good sturdy handle as well.

This is yet another excellent Di Oro silicone cooking utensil with a long handle length. It replaced a black plastic cooking spoon I had been using for many years. This Di Oro cooking spoon is made from silicone, which along with wood and metal cooking utensils, is considered to be safe for cooking at high temperatures. [Note: I eliminated all my black plastic utensils when reports came out that many black plastic utensils were made from recycled electronic waste, which can contain toxic chemicals like brominated flame retardants and heavy metals.]

The steel core of this spoon is key to it's sturdiness and works well stirring a hot pot of stew. Would have liked a slightly larger and deeper spoon head, but overall, a very nice spoon for the kitchen.

Absolutely the best feel for a spoon I have in my kitchen, stiff where it needs to be and soft where it needs to be, and the scoop actually has sides and depth where you can actually scoop up food. I don't know how to best describe it but ergonomically and functionally perfect for what I want in a kitchen spoon and the quality appears just as perfect. I will be buying more of their products.

Very nice spoon. Love the color and shape. I received one at first that had clearly been used, but got a replacement that’s much better. The spoon isn’t super thick like a lot of other silicone spoons. It is very large.

This spoon checks all the boxes for me. It's solid, a good size for cooking, appears very well made, and arrived on time.

I have seen some negative reviews that this spoon is not durable enough to handle a long hot stir of a chili or stew or is able to handle a constant heat. This spoon is a silicone encapsulated metal spoon that does live up to its intended purpose. The only thing I did find questionable is that the rigid part of the spoon does not extend around the "hanging hole" of the spoon. The spoon is long enough to reach the bottom of a Calphalon Dutch Oven (this is the deep pot I have found during my new cookware exploration) without exposing you to the simmer or boil heat. I am not a professional cook, but my professional cook brother gives this product a 2 thumbs up
