Headset was purchased for elderly nursing home resident sharing a semi-private room having two wall-mounted TVs less than four feet apart (i.e., a recipe for potential conflict).I needed a headset meeting the following criteria:*** [CRITICAL] Safe to use in healthcare setting having both sensitive medical equipment and pacemaker-wearing residents. **** Ease of use for senior having limited dexterity.* Sufficiently comfortable for senior to wear 1 to 2 hours at a time.* Sufficiently strong and reliable signal for use up to 10 to 15 feet away from base/transmitter (I placed the headset's transmitter atop the bracket securing one of the wall-mounted TVs, which may have helped maximize signal efficacy and reception).* Good sound quality (setting the transmitter's tone switch to "bass" seemed to help this).* Long battery life/runtime (family member uses headset several hours a day w/o issue, though I'll swap out its battery for one that's fully charged most evenings).(Added bonus: responsive and helpful customer support, which greatly aided my pre-purchase research).To date, this headset's met or exceeded all the above criteria. It's nice when something actually works as hoped and helps forestall a potential problem.So far, so good. Very pleased...

I really like these headphones. I like to get uo early in the mornin to watch movies. My wife ;likes to sleep in so I c. an watch the TV without having to turn the volume on at all. Super easy to set up, I chose to use the digital cable to hook right into our cable set top box. I knocked down the comfort, previously I had over the ear headphones, these are a little less comfortable (in the ear). I confess I didn't read the description carefully. These use infrared to connect to their base rather than using Blue Tooth or other wireless protocols. They work fine as long as you are in front of the base.

We originally bought this product in 2021, the sound quality was great…bought a second pair for back up a few months ago and they were awful! With the sound at its highest, it was very hard to hear. We returned that set and ordered another, hoping it was a fluke. The next set came, same thing, poor sound quality. I contacted the company, after a bit of going back and forth, they finally responded with something that made sense…”our original intention to enhance the treble section was to make it clearer for customers to hear, but it brought about the problem of low sound”, then they went on to blame it on a new tv or the cables and ultimately gave product suggestions for an item that cost more! Needless to say, item will be returned.

I bought these during hte pandemic and over the past three years they have generally served me well. These are INFRARED technology not blue tooth or 2.4 or 5 GHZ. I find that these generally work great with really good battery life and sound quality, as long as you are lined up and the receiver on the earphone unit is within a clear line of sight of the transmitter. If not, they will not work. I have seen many reviews on this product and on many of them the buyer/user complains that they don't work but I tihnk that people are not realizing that these are like other wireless technologies and you cannot leave the room or be slightly misaligned with the Infrared unit because if you are, they won't work. My advice is read carefully as there are a lot of other brands/modesl that do not use Infrared but these modesl also don't alway offer the ability to connect via an optical connection so you are then you. may have to give up the use of your speakers on your TV (if it doesn't allow you to chose more than one output setting). I think these are great but I am starting to get tired of how much of a pain it is to align the transmitter with whichever chair I am sitting in.

Loved it. I turned my TV a little too loud after the guide said 40% of max, which is too loud for me.That said, it was super easy to set up on my TV, just plug in, switch to PCR, and put it on external. Granted I don't have a sound bar to deal with, but it was super easy and goes with me all around my single room place
