FRAM ULTRA SYNTHETIC
The Fram XG series FRAM ULTRA SYNTHETIC oil filters are the best filters out there that can be bought in the $10 dollar range. If your using synthetic oil, this is the best value going. I don't recommend any of the other Fram filters, especially EXTRA GUARD spin on filters, as the internal construction of these are questionable at best. If you need a low cost filter try the PUROLATOR CLASIC L series, they have better construction internally.

Good filter Easy to change
The grip makes oil changes so easy. I have used FRAM oil filters in my vehicles for hundreds of thousands of miles. Well made products.

Not the Orange Trash...
The build quality of this filter is quickly evident upon removing it from the box. Good seal, great grippy coating that Fram is known for, and much much better construction from Fram's old orange Can garbage. They could just offer these filters and trash their economy line and still be just fine. Price point was great and Amazon's shipping was awesome as always.

Good quality filters
These are good quality filters.The only improvement I would love to see is a nut on the end (like the K&N oil filters) for installation and removal ease in challenging filter locations.

Fram is typically overpriced trash. The Ultra Guard being the exception, it’s compares to middle of the road filters.Every name brand is better BUT when the Fram is on sale and average quality is good enough the Ultra Guard is an acceptable choice

Supplied with a used oil filter
Package arrived with the security seal torn off, when filter box opened the filter is dirty on the outside and residue of used oil on the filter face.Disgraceful that this was shipped
