If You Were At The First Thanksgiving

Wow. This book is packed with great information on the real Thanksgiving. Not the fluffy version they teach in school, but the actual facts about how things happened. There is so much great information in here. I think it should be added to everyone's Thanksgiving book reading list and all libraries (including home ones). We are doing a study in our homeschool of Thanksgiving and the reasons for people leaving England so long ago. I think it's something so important for children to know and study.

Well researched and interesting for both kids and adults. A great read for the Thanksgiving season and beyond. Illustrations are well done and the book answers may questions that kids might ask. Who knew that the Pilgrims didn't wear undergarments?

Great for teacher's teaching about Thanksgiving. It gives a lot of information about the First Thanksgiving. It's a great resource.Not suitable for reading to preschoolers but summary of it would be good.

We read this book with our kids the week before Thanksgiving. It was very easy to read, had great illustrations and contained a lot of details about that time period - not just about the first Thanksgiving. They loved it! We have already recommended this book to others.

got this book for thyanksgiving. the grandkids were coming for a visit. and it had been a long time since I learned about thanksgiving in school. found it to cover all the possiable questions. the amount of words to describe the history were just perfect in lenghth and discription

Exactly the book I was trying to replace. It has great fun facts about Thanksgiving, that I always liked to have at our Thanksgiving table to occasionally tell my guests about.

It was informative and had very nice illustrations. It covered the subject thoroughly. We would consider buying other books from the same author.

This was so cute! I bought it and other similar booklets so my grandchildren can read them - only to find my sister (a teacher) bought these years ago for her kids at school.
