Well worth the upgrade from my OEMs.
I really like the upgrade these provided for my 2015 Golf Sportwsgen’s headlamps. I tried the Philips ones, one brightness less than these, and those were a little whiter and brighter than my OEMs. These are quite noticeably a lot whiter and brighter, and well worth the upgrade for me. Their life expectancy is quite a bit shorter than the dimmer ones. We’ll see how they fry and cloud my giant, expensive plastic headlamp assemblies. I’ve thought of upgrading to LEDs to avoid all of that, but alas, I hesitate to introduce outside weirdness to the electrical system of a German car. Ever bought a used one where someone “upgraded” the alarm, or audio system, etc...? You’re entering a world of pain my friend. A world of pain...These have been great since I installed them, and I really appreciate and highly recommend having better visibility.

Very good light
Very good replacement bulbs. Looks slightly brighter than OEM. Hopefully they will last as long.

A little more output than other incandescent bulbs
These appear a little brighter than the standard incandescent H7 bulbs I had in my car. It's not a huge difference and it could be due more to them being new than anything. Still they are brighter and I appreciate that. Don't buy into the "whiteness" claims though. Understand when buying these they they are going to have a yellowish hue.I don't know how long these will last, but I understand that, when bulbs burn hotter, they aren't going to last as long. If I get a year out of them, I'll be satisfied. You cannot complain that you don't get the same life as your OEM bulbs. If you want longer life, you get less light. There are no free rides. These are good for what they are. Just know that you will need to replace them.

Excellent light output. Good beam shape.
I bought these to replace Osram Nightbreaker Laser. The Osrams had a weird dark spot and all the brightness is at the bottom of the beam. The Philips XVB are WAY better. They have a nice even beam and no dark spots. Most of the light is concentrated top center of the beam so the light casts nicely across the full length.

Worked great on my car
Worked great on my car. A noticeable difference in brightness from the standard bulbs I had. I was undecided between converting to LED bulbs or getting standard ones but finally got these and I've been happy with them. I read a lot of reviews and these were among the top reviewed for this type of bulb. Simple to install (at least on my car) and have had no problems since.

Best light bulb I ever bought
Best light bulb I ever bought. I always used Phillips in my bikes. However in the Auto Shops we only find the Sylvania. The Sylvania have a good light when new, but don't last for too long and also the light is not good in rain. But this one is amazing. Lasts longer than Sylvania and rocks at any weather. Is the only light that illuminates better on rain. Don't ask me why.

Bright bulbs
The bulbs are a large improvement over the stock bulbs in our Mk7 VW Golf. Price is very good. Will have to wait to see how long they last. Original bulbs were still working after 5 years. Installation can be done in the VW without tools but it is a very tight fit to get hand into the space provided. Bulbs go into a factory holder which is easy. Problem is reinstalling the holder into the car. Look for YouTube videos, suggest do passenger side first, it is easier.
