I bought this on the basis of its good reviews. I have recently inherited some jewellery and whilst it is very nice it had clearly not been cleaned in absolute years! I was rather sceptical that this machine could actually do a thorough job but was hopeful. I used water from my Britta filter (we have very hard water in our area) and warmed it with a little boiling water as I noted that several reviews say to use warm water. I also bought and added some Octopus Amytyst cleaner with the same order so I added 1 capful to the warm water.When in use, the water looks practically still with just a little shimmer noticeable. At first I was worried that it wasnt working but how wrong I was! The machine is very easy to use. It has a timer which can be set to 180, 360 or 480 seconds just by repeatedly pressing the timer button. The digital display shows a countdown of how many seconds remain . I initially put the timer to 180 seconds but this was not enough for the level of dirt on my jewellry. So I repeated the process. It took 480 seconds in total to make an obvious difference but what a difference! The less dirty items were already sparkling and just needed to be rinsed and wiped with a clean cloth. The very dirty items (mostly intricate rings and earrings and earring backs) needed a little scrub with a soft toothbrush then a rinse and wash with a cloth. I was really pleased with the results.One thing you must be prepared for is that although it cleans the items it does not remove tarnish from gold and silver so a rub with a silver cloth or gold cloth will be necessary to make the items shine like new.All in all Im really pleased with this machine and Im hunting round now to find other things to put in! Saved me a fortune on jeweller's prices to clean!

Bought this in January and was amazed at how good it cleaned small items, could literally watch as the tiny bubbles removed grime. Fast forward a couple of months and it has completely stopped working. Lights up, counts down but does zero cleaning, no vibration nothing. In the bin it goes.Don’t waste your money.

It was almost embarrassing how much gunk came off my jewellery. I went on a bit of a binge, clearing out my jewellery box and cleaning all the stuff I haven't worn for a while, and when I'd finished I did the same thing for my Mum's jewellery. I then moved on to my glasses and wondered how I'd been able to see out of them for so long. I will use this gadget regularly now for maintenance and not let my jewellery get so dirty in the future

It cleans with some help. I bought the model with longer cycles. In warm soapy water it took 20 mins to start softening dried acrylic paints from various colour cups from my airbrushes . Some nozzles from another brush came up nicely but they weren't too bad when they went in. I have some cleaning fluid coming so we'll see if that speeds things up.So not fully convinced these devices work as well as some reviewers have suggested!

My watch has a beautiful metal strap but sweat gathers between the links and becomes unpleasant. This cleaner works brilliantly on the strap which is now as fresh as on purchase. Specs, rings, hair-clipper attachments - excellent. Caution: used hot water by mistake on plastic-frame glasses - DON’T!

Bought this 3L ultrasonic cleaner to use in my garage just for cleaning injectors and it passed with flying colours.I also have a large 15l cleaner I use mainly for engine parts, so I wanted something small for smaller parts and I was blown away by this cleaner. In the past 2 weeks I’ve cleaned more than 20 injectors which I’ll normally I’ve advised customers to change. At around £150, New or £100 refurbed for Injectors, customers were pleased to pay half price to get them taken apart and cleaned. Very happy with this cleaner and I’ll recommend it to anyone looking to buy them for degreasing small mechanical parts like EGR’s and Injectors.

I wasn't sure about paying this for my wife's Christmas present. But reading the reviews it was mostly 5 star and all positive comments. We have now started cleaning all the jewellery in house it's so easy to use and what a difference its makes. Look at the pictures of my bracelet it took a times but came up like new. I also wash my glasses in there, they have never been so clean. Cleaning liquid is a bit pricey but we dishwasher cleaner.
