Great project for the do it yourself handy person
I had to go up in my attic to run a cable and notice two small holes in my duct junction. I put some electric tape but that wasn't helpful at all. Ironically, I came across this product and thought it should do the job. When it arrived, I was impressed with how much you got and seems to be same stuff the AC people use. I was able to tear it very easy and slap it on the 2 spots to solve my issue. I probably will have this a long time, but paid next to nothing in what it would have cost to have an a/c person come out. great value and product

backing can be hard to get off of foil.,
Above average for China stuff. Only complaint is it’s so sticky the backing can be hard to get off of foil.,

Didn’t stick very well
Didn’t stick very well and hard to use. I used it on the vent to my dryer and it took many tries to get it to hold.

Must have finger nails!
Pain in the arse to get the backing paper off! Does what it's supposed to do otherwise!

Really works - you just need to have the patience.
It's not a glamorous task, but put on your favourite tunes, entice your kids with some ice cream if they help you, just take be patient and cover all the leaky gaps in your central air system.Took me about 2 hours to get all the joints in all the vents to be taped up and to be perfect. My unfinished basement is no longer ice cold with my upstairs being a hot mess. It's astounding how much air gets lost through cracks.Likes+Super adhesive, place it on the metal and it sticks+Easy to rip (don't need scissors, can just rip and tape)+Also holds a crease relatively well (imagine aluminum foil) for tight/awkward angles.Dislikes+Takes some time. But I guarantee you, the cost of this 1 (or 2) rolls + an afternoon with your favourite music or a podcast + you'll save more than that when it comes to heating (winter) and cooling (summer).

Adequately hinders cockroach transit across its surface
Ordered this to wrap around table legs to stop cockroaches from climbing up onto my table and appliance cart. I caught a cockroach and spared its life for long enough to subject it to a climbing test. After forcibly encouraging the pest to attempt a vertical escape up a surface entirely covered in this tape for about ten minutes, I have concluded that it adequately fulfills its purpose and prevents the little buggers from transiting across it vertically.I would imagine that this tape works fine for duct repair and the like, although I haven't tested it in those contexts personally. The tape itself is good quality, comes with a paper backing that you have to remove before using, and adheres to a multitude of surfaces without issue.

poor quality
The product is not adhered to the cardboard roll like other tapes, just wants to unravel itself making it difficult to use.

Great value
Great role of tape. Used it to cover some large gaps in the duct work in our basement. Works well. It can be a little sensitive and could take a little time to get used to it because it may tear easily.
