Broke after a month.
Broke in the injection molded handle after a month. Too late to return. Normal kitchen use only.

A no brainer for the money
This is the first ceramic knife that I have ever owned, so understand that I am no expert on them. I like this knife a lot. It's light, sharp and feels good in my hand. It also works well for most anything that I would ever use it for. But I don't think that a ceramic knife lives up to all of the hype, such as: "Best and Sharpest." Please understand that I am not saying anything negative about this knife. It is a fine, functional and nice looking knife and one that most people would be thrilled with. With that said, I have to admit that I am anal about my knives. I keep my steel knives razor sharp. So sharp that I can easily shave hair off my arm. A ceramic knife cannot match that sharpness out of the box.The pros for this ceramic knife is that if you are not obsessed (like me) with honing your knives to razor sharpness, you'll most likely never have to bother with this chore (a real pain in the rear). For most people, this is a BIG pro. I am very happy with this knife and have no hesitation on recommending it to the general public. And for the price... Heck! I lose more change in my sofa during the week than what this knife cost. So, buy one, you'll like it.

It's sharp but has no weight so fruits and fillet only.
I mean its not very fancy as a gift (weird question Amazon asked me). It's sharp and good for fruit that I cut up for my pets. It would prob snap under frozen food or bone. It's pretty if you like that black/black look. The sheath is cheap plastic but important for safety. I've cut through a few layers of skin into my finger just grasping around for (not deep enough for blood though).It seems sharper then my D2 tool steel boning knife but again would prob not handle bone at all.

Took seconds to become my go-to
Came as I was fixing a luncheon for friends,so used it immediately. As friends arrived they tried it out. Many raves like "better than my expensive knives". Careful it really is sharp!! A friend washed it & as she ran the towel down the blade, she cut the towel. Sliced thru grape tomates, various vegetables & fruits & ham & pork loin like they were butter. Nice, thin slices too. My other knives are migrating to the back of the drawer. I will be ordering larger ones.

Sharp indeed.
I wanted a sharp paring knife that would slice through grape tomatoes like a scalpel and this baby does that beautifully. Or maybe I should say it did this beautifully since it's now in two pieces. Someone dropped it from the counter to the floor and the blade broke in half. It was great while it lasted though.

Not a good buy
Arrived, I tried to peel an apple. It would barely move through the peel. Terrible knife.
