Great for the money!
Strong PVC plastic smell.Left outside covered in baking soda for 8 hours to absorb smell. Also smelled a little when removing backing, but once adhered well, no smell. You just need a level or a yardstick to make sure that you're staying level along the base of the counter. Each panel overlaps by two and a half inches of little notches. Easiest working left to right. You can pull back and reposition. I found it easiest to cut off the extra tiny strip of junk plastic off the bottom and backing from bottom 5 inch piece, so border piece can be lined up along base with the top 5 inch piece. Pull back and cut off backing from first 3 inches of the backing at first, position it, then slowly pull the backing off and rub in grout lines left the right to adhere the rest of it along the wall. Looks Great! Buying again! I cut the panels in half laterally, Hey is the largest strip at the top and did a 5-in border along the base of my counter. Just enough decoration not too busy. Works well with an almond kitchen. Durable. Test piece I bought years ago was still intacted.

Measure and Cut Properly
The media could not be loaded. Update:BUY ADHESIVE!!! After months of being up they are al starting to fall down. I’m gonna go buy some adhesive spray to put behind the tiles and hopefully it holds! I spent $200 total for all these tiles praying the adhesive will make it stay out! Everyday I’m having to push them to the wall back in placeThe tiles look amazing. They are kind of a hassle to put up. Be sure to measure and cut correctly. I ordered one extra l that arrived today that I’ll put up this weekend. In all for what’s up there now it’ll be 2 1/2 boxes. It took me almost three hours to put what’s up there now. If you measure and cut properly once you get a system going easy peasy after that.! They did raise the price from $32.99 to now $49.99 which I think is ridiculous but hey I needed it. Overall satisfied with the look of it all.UPDATE 3: Spray adhesive did not work. After spraying adhesive spray the tiles start falling down again a week later. I bought “liquid nails” and it worked! Watched a YouTube video and they suggested the product. It’s been 3 weeks and still sticking just fine. I will say I’m the YouTube video she mentioned if u are planning to remove tiles off wall don’t use liquid nails

Relatively easy to install yourself
I installed this in my kitchen after a remodel by professionals updated my cupboards. I was left with the backsplash section which had layers of things stuck to the wall. The prep took me a couple of weeks and I installed each side of the kitchen backsplash in 2-3 hours after that. Going around the switches and plugs was a little tricky. You can easily cut the squares with a utility knife for the holes you need. However, in older houses, the walls aren't all even and things don't line up nicely, so I ended up having to piece together in some spots. Which worked. I was able to fill in all the problem areas. Buy extra if you have an older house because you will screw up a few times and need more than you think. But the finished product for the fact I did it myself, and didn't spend a lot is great.

look nice and install was fairly quick
I needed something for a rental. Needed to be quicker and less expensive than installing real tile. For self-installation, this is NOT cheaper than real subway tile would have been. But it is quicker. The sheets are a little tricky to work with and VERY sticky if you happen to touch, which the packaging says not to do. (I just didn't figure out a way to peel off the back without touching the edge just a smidgen.) Have to be careful about lining up the grout lines before releasing it to stick. They look very nice! Just like other pictures posted. I didn't have enough to finish and happily have ordered the next package. Would recommend for certain purposes. It does not have the hard surface that real tile does.Update in 2022: would give it 2 stars now. Peeling off everywhere. Gets two stars for the way it looked. Now replacing with real tile.

These are falling off my walls and now are green!
Love the tiles, easy to put up, great results. However within a couple months the tiles are now coming unpeeled from my walls!!! They won’t stay stuck anymore. I put up four boxes of tiles and now they’re all peeling off the walls. Very disappointed. Wish I would’ve bought another product as this one is a waste of my time and money. My options are to take them all down and buy something else and put that up. Or try to re-glue four boxes of tiles back onto the walls.UPDATE: I have reglued these to my walls several times over the last several months. I bought the brown beige tiles. They are now an ugly pea green color!!! they look awful!! waste of money! DO NOT BUY!!

trouble with adhesive over period of time
I put these above my kitchen counter in my winter park model and originally, they looked great. When I returned the next winter (9 months later) many of the edges had let go and were curled. I tried to rub them down again as they appeared sticky, but they wouldn't stay. The worst were the cut edges where they were fitted around the cupboards and corners. Otherwise, loved the look of them and an easy nice-looking fix to a wall.

Before and After
For the most part I’m very happy with the results. It was a tedious process and they can rip if not careful. However, so far so good. My kitchen looks so much better now. I didn’t have the funds or time to replace the kitchens backsplash with the glue and all that. This was definitely much more affordable and easier route for me to go and get an elegant kitchen makeover look.Have to be careful with where you stick it. It is strong and that’s how they can be ripped when cutting or trying to reposition them.Great and definitely recommend

Amazing product
At first I was hesitant on ordering, buy after reading reviews I decided to go with it. I am very impressed with this product even after reading reviews saying not true to color I was very satisfied with the color and the oder was not that bad. If your looking for an easy upgrade to your kitchen I highly recommend this product. The tiles do stick very well had no issues but make sure you line up every one or ypu will be peeling back off.
