The GT-806B60 delivers Gigabit performance and offers Auto MDI/MDI-X on the TP port and a DIP switch that configures the Link Fault Pass Through function (LFP). The unit’s LLCF/LLR has the ability to notify network administrators issues with the link media and offer them efficient solutions to monitor their networks. The DIP Switch offers an option to disable or enable the LFP function. Network administrators have ability to monitor and control devices with the OAM TS-1000 terminal features that include remote failure indication, loop back test, port status, performance monitoring and troubleshooting. The GT-806B60 can operate as an independent unit or as a module powered by a media converter chassis from Planet Technology, models MC-700, MC-1500, MC-1500R and MC-1500R48. A media converter chassis powers on media converters to keep the fiber-optic network at a single location. The GT-806B60 is compatible with IEEE 802.3 10Base-T, IEEE 802.3u 100Base-TX, IEEE 802.3ab 1000Base-T and IEEE 802.3z 1000Base-LX/SX.
