Original review is unbracketed.] There are plenty of reviews of this and other pressure gauges where users complain that moisture gets inside the unit and fogs the glass (or plastic). Well, I sealed this baby with some clear silicone sealant all around and that took care of any moisture issues. [UPDATE: It most certainly did NOT take care of any moisture issues. In fact, I am pretty sure it made it worse.] This model also has a steel casing and seems much more rugged than the broken unit it replaced. For the money, you cannot go wrong with this unit. It comes as a two-pack, so I have one installed and a spare in case the new one fails. [UPDATE: The original one that I sealed up has TONS of moisture in it, but it still functions and I will leave it connected until I close my pool. I will try the other unit next year. I think the unit needs to have some ventilation to prevent moisture from getting inside and under the viewing window. Oh, well, I gave it a shot...LOL] (My old unit failed only because the people who closed my pool last year forgot to detach it and it froze. I know this because I took it apart and the solder joint at the end of the tubing inside had blown apart.) [Still...] Very satisfied with this purchase.

Lightweight and easy to install. Hasn't rained on it yet so not sure if that will be a problem. One thing though if the gauged is being threaded into an old weathered Air Pressure Relief Release Valve be careful. My Air Pressure Relief Release Valve started leaking after the gauge was inserted. I must have cracked the valve even though it was threaded in hand tight. When I received a new Air Pressure Relief Release Valve I used a Teflon paste thread sealant instead of tape, which fills voids in thread mating better. With the low psi at these components, the Teflon pipe dope works great. I'll update this review if the gauge has problems after some months of use. My original gauge and Air Pressure Relief Release Valve had lasted 14 years, hope I get the same performance of these new parts.

I use these on a tire machine. They work fine. Good deal for the money. Did not check the accuracy but they are close enough for tire work. If customer wants better, let him use his own gauge.

GAUGE HAS WATER IN IT AFTER JUST A FEW MONTHS

Produce was easy to install and NO LEAKS! Readings seem to be accurate and for the price, it's a no brainier. I used these to measure pressure coming in and out of my whole house water filter system.
