I love love love the flex loc torch body
this is my go to torch. I love how compact it is. I typically use a button cap with left over tungsten from my ch17 flex torch. This torch makes it so easy to reposition in just about any angle. I restore old Jaguar (cars) and I thought my ck17 flex head was wonderful. But the flex loc is amazing. I can't imagine not having it in my arsenal.I use with a stubby gas lens and a button back, the torch head is less than 2 inches. the flexibility of positioning the torch in any concievable direction is fabulous for the type of (almost alwarys) out of position welding.Bottom LineBuy it and you'll love it.Not really related.Oh, one more thing. the cap screw on the back of the torch head used to hold the torch on the body? That's considered a consumable. If you do a lot of 75+ amp welding. Keep a couple on hand. anything over 100 amps will melt it. Just say'n.

I love the flex lock torch but do know if your using a standard 3/8 24, 17 style torch cable you'll need a (FLAF) adapter from CK. This torch has metric threads. You can get the adapter or the super flex cable made for this torch. In that case your better off buying the whole torch and cable kit
